    Some thing 😷

    • Written by Tristan A from Nathalie

Usually the left earbud goes out but I use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and rub it on the grill of the ear bud to clean out the wax and after wait for a couple of minutes and it’s good to go.

    Not worth the price.

    • Written by Alayna C from Franklin

I have went through at lest 7 iphone headphones in the last few years because one of the speakers goes out. These are NOT worth $30, they worth at the most $15. So not worth it. You need better quality headphones. Tired of spending $30 on headphones when they just break in the next few months. I just got my headphones with my new phone in May and one speaker is already out. i don’t even listen to my music loud. i’m just so sick of it.

Don’t buy unless you want to spend lots of money

    • Written by Sofia M from Santa ana

I can’t believe how these are considering it is an apple product. I got these for 30 dollars and they only last about 6 months. I’ve have at least 4 EarPods that have broken or stop working in a small amount of time. And I’m sure it’s not me that breaks them I take good care of them I don’t really tangle them or do anything that would cause them to stop working. The ones I’m currently using the box on the right earbud were you could pause, turn up and down volume has stopped working and I only bought them in March also I’m starting to hear bits of static and Siri starts turning on and my music keeps pausing. I remember once buying cheap $5 earbuds and they lasted long and good(my mom vacuumed them by accident )and they were much better. I do not recommend these unless you want to constantly buy them. I wish I could get refunds. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND .

    Most uncomfortable and least noise-canceling

    • Written by Isabella S from Fairfax

The old design with silicon buds was way more comfortable and noise-canceling. This design doesn’t fit well in ANYONES ear, the shape is odd and painful. Whoever decided to change the design is a moron. I never use these, and I recommend buying a more comfortable earbud and use a dongle, if necessary. I rather use no earbuds than use these pieces of .Bring back the other design, at least as an option because I swear it will do better than this design.

It's always the same failure: one of the earpods stops working. I'm 69, so it's not like they're getting the treatment in the gorilla luggage commercial.

    Built to break

    • Written by Trey D from Provo

I go through these earbuds like toilet paper, I don’t fling them around, I don’t step on them, they just decide to stop working after six months. I’m righting this review literally ten minutes after the left earbud stopped working. The only reason I keep getting them is because they’re the only cheaper earbuds you can look good using. I’m pretty sure they just don’t care about the manufacturing of their earbuds anymore because they just want you to get AirPods that don’t break like these ones because they don’t have the flimsy wire. But I’m not gonna spend $200 on some plastic overpriced garbage that I’m probably just gonna lose at a party.

    Excellent headphones for the price

    • Written by Layton A from SANTA CLARA

I've gone through my fair share of headphones, and for the cost I think these put out some great sound. I'm a cyclist, and so I absolutely need to hear what's going on around me, and since these don't block out sound like the gel buds do I'm able to still listen to music and phone calls easily while simultaneously hearing my surroundings. The little buttons on the cord are also really easy to use while on the bike. I'm ordering a new pair today after over 3 years of abuse. They've been with me while I've done gardening, cycling (in all the elements), relaxing in the backyard, etc. I've tried to keep them clean and water free this whole time, but dirt, sweat, and rain sometimes got to them. The headphones still put out great sound today, but after the 3 years the little buttons are starting to go, and I can no longer change volume, answer calls, skip songs, etc. I highly recommend these headphones.

They work after you wash them

    • Written by Allison D from Salinas

I accidentally threw my headphones and adaptor in the washing machine with my laundry and the drier as well. I did not notice u til I took my clothes out and they came along with it. Tried them on and once again they worked perfectly fine. I’ve probably accidentally thrown them into the washer like 3 times now.

    Broke (Again) For No Reason

    • Written by Alexandra O from Milldale

I bought my most recent pair after the sound in the previous became distorted and I could only hear the background vocals and intrumentals over the main vocals of any songs - this was in January. Now, at the end of April, the same thing has happened to my newer pair. There was no physical trauma to the earbuds besides the general wear and tear any earbuds get from use - they weren't stepped on or anything similar to my knowledge. I merely pulled them out of my book bag and they were no longer working. I did discover that if I hold down the remote, that the music will play normally - but the idea of holding down the button and losing the use of my hand is tiring and troublesome. For a company that prides itself on their latest and coolest technology, their earbuds quite literally are some of the worst I've ever used - especially for such a high price.

    Easily Break

    • Written by Sasha M from Mendocino

I really like the overall fit and sound of these, but the jack's on the ones I receive are always flimsy and tend to bend, which in my experience kills the sound. You have to be careful with these earbuds.

    Absolutely Terrible Quality

    • Written by Jordan G from Portsmouth

I'm currently on my third pair of earbuds and after owning them for no more than three months either one earbud no longer produces sound, the sound quality greatly diminishes, or no sound comes out of them all together. For the amount you pay for these they don't last very long at all.

    Great sound quality, durability issues

    • Written by jetpakturtle from Cupertino

I really like the sound quality of Apple's EarPods, and they fit comfortably in my ears, but I have found that these break easily with normal use, without a case to protect and store them. I have two pairs of EarPods, one of which had the plastic ring on the plug broken, which sometimes leads to the right earphone having no audio. The second pair's cord broke, with the wire fraying, completely breaking the EarPods.

    Disappointed

    • Written by Nikki T from Hutchinson

I’ve always loved Apple’s headphones because I have small ears and theirs fit me well! I recently bought an iPhone X and the headphones it came with broke after 3 months. The right bud just stopped working completely suddenly, which was really irritating. I’m really disappointed in the quality of their products. Their headphones use to be so much better. I don’t even know if I’m going to buy another pair because I’m afraid they’ll go out again in a few months. I can’t afford $30 headphones every 3 months.

    they work good but...

    • Written by Alexis M from Gridley

The earbuds them self work good and have a good base sound to them and they are also rlly comfortable and get the job done. The only down side i noticed with these is that they are just normal earbuds but over priced. like if i wanted over priced earbuds i would judt get airpods but just think why should we spend $30 on earbuds that work the same as any other earbud but the only difference is that they have the word apple after it. my own personal sugestion is that you should just go to walmart and get earbuds that are like $5 instead of spending $30 on something that just says apple.

Honestly I’m extremely disappointed. They broke within the week of receiving them. Way too fragile and honestly the sound quality is super underwhelming.

Very Amazing if you have EQ app

    • Written by Tom B from Fremont

By itself, the EarPods give very respectable Treble and Mid-range performance, but the Sub-bass isn't as stellar. If you use it in conjunction with an EQ app giving the 50hz frequency a boost of 9dB it will sound absolutely amazing, especially when you're listening to Hip-Hop tracks with lots of bass.
