    Pretty Good

    • Written by Riley H from Orange

These headphones are okay. I’ve had them for maybe 3 weeks, put them in my backpack without case and the tiniest peace of leather came off, in my option that is not good enough for 300 dollar headphones. The sound is amazing though. When I have it on 4 it sounds like a speaker. They are pretty comfortable except when you where them for a couple hours. I like the option where if the battery is dieing you can you use the cord provided. Also I like that it includes a carry case, although it has a soft shell, while the studio 3 has a hard case. I use them in school for listening tests, music and educational videos. At home I use them for music, movies, shows and more. These headphones are great.

    Returning ASAP

    • Written by Emma S from Lakewood

The earphones are too small and give me a headache. I might be able to get used to that if these stupid headphones didn't repeatedly launch itunes. More than 20 times in 30 minutes. They also make a random movie from my library autoplay. It's incredibly annoying. Exchanging these ASAP for a pair not made by a company owned by Apple. Maybe I won't have this problem that Apple clearly doesn't give a cr*p about- can't find a workable solution ANYWHERE.

    Overpriced and lacking features.

    • Written by Nicolas A from weston

These headphones are very expensive and don't offer the same features as other headphones in the same price range, for example they do not have noise canceling, they do not charge with usbc or lighting, and there is no way to change the sound profile. The sound quality is average and the materials and build are not good, they feel flimsy and very plastic. I believe the price is justified only by the brand name and not by the functions or the quality.

    My ears hurt :-(

    • Written by Christopher C from Holt

They must be called beats because of the vibrant beet red shade you’re ears will turn after using them. I’ve been wanting wireless headphones for years now and am pretty sad that these are my first foray. I got these free with a new laptop. I also don’t like that there’s no auto-off feature (that I’ve found). I would like for them to turn off after being paused for 15 minutes. I’ve had the battery run out before because I forgot to turn them off. I sort of just expected that they would turn off on their own given how expensive they’re being retailed for.

The sound quality is pretty good, so that’s a plus.

    Poor quality and excessive price

    • Written by Loris V from Paris

The headset is made of poor quality materials, it seems like it is gonna break anytime. The sound isn't great. The autonomy is acceptable but not as good as they say. To finish the product is not worth the cost at all, many other brands make great wireless headsets at this price which are 10x better.

Most uncomfortable headphones...I'd give 0 stars.

    • Written by Andrew H from Milton

I got my Beats free with my MacBook Pro in September. I actually rushed and bought the 13" pro because I needed a new set of headphones for work (I spend a lot of time on the phone with clients and candidates.) Had I known that these would induce headaches and pain on the side of my head, I'd have waited. As it is, I've bought QC 35 II's to use and I enjoy them every day.

These are defective, in my opinion. Pressure on your ears, the side of your head (especially if you wear glasses) and it doesn't matter if it's a kid that's wearing them; my son is 9 and my daughter is 7. Both suffered headaches after wearing these for a 30-minute episode of something on Netflix. I'm contacting Apple because, while I received them free as part of a promotion, there is no way they should retail for $329. I'm happy to spend the difference and get something else (Studio's? Pro's?) just as long as they don't hurt. I also feel I made a stupid decision buying the MacBook because I got $329 headphones with them...

    Good quality but painfully tight

    • Written by Angela S from Brookline

I think I have a pretty small head but even then these headphones are SO TIGHT. They practically pin your ears to the sides of your head and pinch your jaws. It's so uncomfortable, which is such a shame because they work well in terms of blocking out noise and delivering high quality sound. I want to stretch them out but I'm afraid to break them. It's frustrating that they're basically unusable.

    Incredible Headphones!

    • Written by Tyler H from Snowflake

I bought these about a year and a half ago and I use them at least once a day. I think that I’ve charged them maybe twice since then. They have an incredible battery life. I have a smaller head so I find they fit comfortably. They look great, they sound great and my favorite part is that they fold for easy storage. 10 out of 10 would recommend, well deserving of five stars.

    Super painful

    • Written by Brian P from OCALA

Really uncomfortable to wear. I have only worn them a handful of times because they give me a headache after wearing for only 30 mins. I wish i could have changed them out for a pair of over the ear instead of these on the ear ones. I had no idea there was a difference in style like that. all this money on headphones that I never wear.

Sound is Good but Ears in Pain!

    • Written by Grace D from BOSTON

I was so excited about these headphones and they really do have an amazingly long lasting battery. HOWEVER, I can only wear them 5-10 minutes before my ears are in too much pain. I tried everything to loosen them. Not possible. Will have to return and exchange for something else.

    Hurt ears!!!

    • Written by natalia H from grenoble

It is super tight!!! My ears hurt from the pressure 20 minutes using it. It’s a shame that it has 40 hours battery but it’s impossible to use it for even 40 minutes without hurting...

Great sound, but they are so uncomfortable.

    • Written by Lindsay B from Overland PArk

I'm so glad that I didn't pay for these headphones. After just fifteen minutes of wearing them my ears hurt! Not because of volume but because of the vice like grip that these suckers have on my head. Super bummed that they hurt. For what they cost, you would think this wouldn't be an issue.

    TIGHT

    • Written by Terri G from Gilbertsville

OMG these are horribly uncomfortable. Just got them and put them on for a few minutes. Had to take them off and it feels as if they're still on. I got them as a "free gift" (useless) when I purchased my new computer. I wonder if they will replace them with the other type of Beats bluetooth headphones. I wouldn't even try to sell these to an unsuspecting buyer.
    The sound was OK.

    Too tight on the head

    • Written by Anil C from Seattle

I have been using this product for about a month now. Love the sound quality, the ease of switching from one Apple device to another and the physical buttons. But I absolutely hate the vice-like grip the headphones have on my ears. After about 30 minutes of using them, I keep moving them around every few minutes to ease the pain on my ears due to the pressure. I have a normal size head. Called Apple support and they asked me to take it to the store. At the store, they said they cannot do anything to fix the pressure and suggested I upgrade to the noise canceling headphones that were $100 more. I chose this headphone because I need a non-noise canceling headphones since I already have the Bose QC35 which I can wear for hours without any discomfort. I will keep looking for another way to fix this problem since I bought this more than 30 days ago.

    Absolutely priceless for hard workouts!

    • Written by Paul C from Toulouse

I have been using these headphones for a long time with primary usage at the gym (weight lifting workouts). For me I appreciate the tighter fit as it helps keep the headphones on my head. As far as the sound is concerned I have nothing bad to say, they are loud with plenty of bass. Admittedly if you’re looking for headphones to listen to a fine tuned simphony these might not be for you. Build quality is robust so far and I can say I have abused mine. The foam pads are plenty comfortable but not sweat resistant thus for long term gym usage, expect to replace the foam pads (easy job for DIY).
The looks don’t disappoint, they are slick looking and with the black ones it’s difficult to see the logo, which gives them that “murderous” look when you hit the iron!
