Sound is Good but Ears in Pain!

I was so excited about these headphones and they really do have an amazingly long lasting battery. HOWEVER, I can only wear them 5-10 minutes before my ears are in too much pain. I tried everything to loosen them. Not possible. Will have to return and exchange for something else.

    Hurt ears!!!

It is super tight!!! My ears hurt from the pressure 20 minutes using it. It’s a shame that it has 40 hours battery but it’s impossible to use it for even 40 minutes without hurting...

Nice sound, but it hurts my head.

I got these as a gift with my imac. I like the sound but they squeeze my head, which is extremely uncomfortable. I don't recommend.

Great sound, but they are so uncomfortable.

I'm so glad that I didn't pay for these headphones. After just fifteen minutes of wearing them my ears hurt! Not because of volume but because of the vice like grip that these suckers have on my head. Super bummed that they hurt. For what they cost, you would think this wouldn't be an issue.

    TIGHT

OMG these are horribly uncomfortable. Just got them and put them on for a few minutes. Had to take them off and it feels as if they're still on. I got them as a "free gift" (useless) when I purchased my new computer. I wonder if they will replace them with the other type of Beats bluetooth headphones. I wouldn't even try to sell these to an unsuspecting buyer.
    The sound was OK.

    Ehhh

The headphone fit good on my head (have a big head), and the sound quality is good. The ear part of the headphones started to fall off.

    Too tight on the head

I have been using this product for about a month now. Love the sound quality, the ease of switching from one Apple device to another and the physical buttons. But I absolutely hate the vice-like grip the headphones have on my ears. After about 30 minutes of using them, I keep moving them around every few minutes to ease the pain on my ears due to the pressure. I have a normal size head. Called Apple support and they asked me to take it to the store. At the store, they said they cannot do anything to fix the pressure and suggested I upgrade to the noise canceling headphones that were $100 more. I chose this headphone because I need a non-noise canceling headphones since I already have the Bose QC35 which I can wear for hours without any discomfort. I will keep looking for another way to fix this problem since I bought this more than 30 days ago.

    Absolutely priceless for hard workouts!

I have been using these headphones for a long time with primary usage at the gym (weight lifting workouts). For me I appreciate the tighter fit as it helps keep the headphones on my head. As far as the sound is concerned I have nothing bad to say, they are loud with plenty of bass. Admittedly if you’re looking for headphones to listen to a fine tuned simphony these might not be for you. Build quality is robust so far and I can say I have abused mine. The foam pads are plenty comfortable but not sweat resistant thus for long term gym usage, expect to replace the foam pads (easy job for DIY).
The looks don’t disappoint, they are slick looking and with the black ones it’s difficult to see the logo, which gives them that “murderous” look when you hit the iron!

    Horrible fit

Why spend so much time on the quality of sound when you can barely wear the headphones? SUPER tight and feels like my brain is being squeezed. When I take it off, I instantly become dizzy and feel the blood rushing through my head again. Thank goodness I got this for free with purchasing my iMac because I don't know why anyone would be buying this! The least the company could do it allow more adjustment options- this is ridiculous.

    Light years better than AirPods

I was always skeptical about the Beats line of headphones. People would always say that they were garbage quality and the sound wasn’t even that great..... oh how they were wrong. I got these headphones when I purchased an iPad Pro for college and I am so glad that I paid the extra money for them. I had previously been using AirPods and these Solo 3s outpace the AirPods any day. The battery life is amazingly long, the sound quality is the best I’ve ever heard, and the comfort is far better than AirPods are. I wanted to get the Gold color since both my phone and iPad were gold, but the Matte Black is odlysatisfying.

Another feature that the Solo 3 have but many people may not notice (and I don’t even believe Apple lists) is something called “Mic Voice Feedback”. This allows you to hear yourself slightly through the headphones from the microphone when talking to someone over the phone or using Siri. It’s very popular with professional gaming hardware since it allows you to sort of hear yourself as you talk and not suffer from “deaf man volume”. This was a great surprise to find out when I started using Siri dictation!

Also, anyone complaining about discomfort after a few hours of wear; I found that “pinching” my ears between my thumb and index finger (thumb under the earlobe) and gently stretching the cartilage in a circular motion helped with the stiffness that comes with wearing these for extended periods of time.

    They are alright...

Look great but the comfort is terrible since they are way to tight on the head. Can't wear them for too long or i would get a headache and heats up my ears. Sound quality is for sure not bad but not worth paying 300 dollars. I would rather go for something like audio technica or bose,

    Terrible

Spent so much time being careful with these headphones and they are already falling apart just a few months in. The leather part around the ear pads are both tearing off. These headphones aren’t even comfortable to wear. Wouldn’t recommend! They’re very pretty but quality wise, it’s a hard no.

    Pretty good.

I got these for free with my Mac for the college promotion. They sound good, but the AirPods sound just as good, maybe better. The biggest problem I have with them Is that they heat up your ears. I only had them on for a few minutes and my ears were so hot I had to take them off. They do get really great battery life though.
Overall they're pretty good headphones, but I definitely would not pay $300 for them. You're definitely paying for the brand. If you're going to pay that much for headphones, look at some Bose headphones first just to see if you like those better. If you want wireless headphones, I would recommend the BeatsX or AirPods, since I find them more comfortable.

Best on eat headphones out there!

I have seen so many reviews on these and they keep saying that there are better headphones out there. To be honest, I don’t see any better than this. 40 hours of battery life, great comfort and they sound fantastic! People would tell you that the Studios sound better but they don’t because they both sound the same. Go to a Apple Store and test them out yourself. These are great for the gym or traveling. I recommend checking out beatkicks covers. They are good for protecting the cushion from sweat. Overall, these are definitely worth getting!
