    Worthless after 2 months

My family purchased 3 pairs of these and 2 out the three stopped charging within 2 months from the time we purchased them. Brought them back to Target and they indicated that the Apple warranty was only for 2 weeks. I will give another update when the 3rd pair breaks. Unfortunately, when that happens I will not be able to give a lower score than 1 star.

    Please Do Not Purchase

These headphones have broken Twice and are Not worth the money at all. The earpiece has literally come apart once on the left and once on the right. The first time they fixed it since I was within warranty. This time you will have to pay $99 for repair. And why? So they can break again at no fault of mine. They clearly are defected and I wanted to warn others of the Rip off . Please do not purchase these for the name brand. They are not worth it. I give them No stars.

    AVOID!!

I bought these headphones in June. Since then the ear piece that wraps around your ear just snapped one day while at the gym. I keep them in a safe place at all times, so there should have been no reason for them to do this. I called customer service for a warranty, and they said this was a user defect. They said it would cost $99 to replace. What a joke. They also don't do a great job staying in your ears once you become sweaty. Don't buy these. Overpriced and will probably break. Oh and my husbands sound quality was terrible within a month. Terrible product.

Lots of problems then quit working all together

I've had these for a little over a year. I've had problems with them from the first month. Sometimes they won't turn on, sometimes they won't connect, sometimes the lights flash forever and the headphones won't do anything. The apple support forums are filled with people complaining of a huge number of unique problems with their earphones and very few solutions. As of this week they will no longer hold a charge for more than 5 minutes and it costs $79 to repair that. Terrible product. I should have read the reviews first.

    Love them!

Been using my PowerBeats3 for a few months now with no connectivity issues and no parts breaking/malfunctioning (knock on wood!) These actually connect to my devices faster than my AirPods, and their battery life is amazing! I love the adjustable over-ear hook for its security, and the in-line controls that are familiar from the EarPods. Serves me well during workout; they don't fall out (if you use the right bud size). I sweat a lot, and they're always wet afterward, but so far, still working!

    Horrible Sound

I was very disappointed in these. For the price, I experience extend the sound to be a lot better. I knew immediately that the sound was inadequate

    Rubber tips

The rubber tips of my Powerbeats3 are loose. They came off from earbuds many times. I had to glue them to keep them in place. I finally lost one piece yesterday. The paid replacement price is $ 13+. Apple should make their products better. Knock offs works better.

    Shut down in cold weather

Despite the photos of people using these to ski and snowboard on the beatsbydre website, these shut down within minutes if used outside below freezing. When I first reported the issue and asked if they should work outside when it was below 0C, (32F), the agent advised that they should, and I arranged to ship mine in for service. Got the replacement ones back, they also shut down when I went outside with them. The agent I spoke to that time said that they do not work in "extreme" temperatures. I don't consider freezing to be extreme. If this is "extreme", they should not advertise pictures of them being used for skiing and snowboarding with snow falling and on the models shoulders. It only snows below freezing...
This would have been a factor in my decision making process, and a big warning should be on the package and on any websites selling them of this limitation.

    Bad headphones

Won’t pair, battery runs low too fast. Nothing more than mediocre sound. Nothing but trouble. Ruined two workouts.
    DON’t BUY

    Just stop working

Had these for a little over 3 months, and I only use them to work out. Tried to charge them and they just wouldn't come on. For $200 I expect a pair of headphones to last me over 3 months. Would not purchase again. Waste of money!

Poor Quality / Poor customer service.

Buyer beware. The wraparound earpiece broke from its mount while placing them into the small black pouch. I had them only a few months. Apple support refused to fix this stating its outside the warrantee boundaries. They wanted $99 to send them back to get repaired. They are now in the garbage. These earphones are made on the cheap and they want top dollar.
Never again will I purchase something from this company.

    Poor quality

This device did not hold up to my workouts or running. The rubber on the volume buttons ware away after minimal useable and one of the buttons fell out. I was outside my warranty and all they could say was replace it for another $100. Poorly made and not worth the money.

Had a set for less than 6 months the wire jacket began the come apart conntected support the get the item repaired under warrranty. Sent them back and of course the warranty doesn’t cover the problem and they want 99 dollars to repair. This product is junk as the reviews show and dont depend on apple the stand behind it.

    Poorly Constructed and Overpriced

I purchased the Powerbeats3 wireless 11 months ago, and had software issues right from the start. I had to reset the device at least once a week because of bluetooth connectivity issues. I was using a brand new phone at the time, so I know that wasn’t the issue.

After hurdling my way through the software issues, then the physical defects began. The first thing to go out was the volume rocker. I ended up having to manage the volume of my music from my phone itself. (Note: This same issue happened to my Powerbeats2, which I sent back 3 times during the 1.5 years I owned them). Then most recently, the right ear hook broke off completely. When I shipped the device back for repair, they refused to do the repair without me paying for it. They claimed misuse/abuse was the reason the product broke. The ear hooks are supposed to be adjustable (just like any other over the ear type headphones), but obviously these are not.

DO NOT waste your money on this product as it is not worth the $200.00 price point. Yes, the sound quality is amazing and they look cool, but I have owned $50 headphones that lasted longer then both pairs of my Beats put together. I don’t know if Apple is actually manufacturing the product in-house, or if Beats is making them and just allowing Apple to retail them. Whoever is at fault needs to get it together. Ultimately, I am faulting Apple as they are the ones who are asking me to pay $99 to repair a product that was constructed poorly from the beginning, and will likely just break again. I will NEVER buy or recommend another Apple product.

    OK - Have issues

Ive owned my wireless Beats for about 10 months now and have noticed the battery charge has gone from 8 hrs to about 30 minutes - to now they don't charge at all... Although the sound is good, the connection cord between each ear piece needs to be longer. The price point is also WAY HIGH and I would look for an alternative next time.
