    Love my band!

Received my second loop band today. First one was the pink. Loved so much that I ordered the black one. Although some of the reviews didn’t like because it isn’t true black I love it. So easy to get this band on and off and get just right fit. In fact I love all my bands that I have purchased so far. You don’t even realize that you are wearing especially during the hot summer month!!

    Black it's not.

This band is actually a very dark brown or rather black and brown threads combined. I wanted a truly black band and had to get one elsewhere. However, the Apple quality is very good.

    Not Black

I love the fit of this band, but it is not black. The store picture shows just a slight tinge of red background, which is not accurate. Mine has a lot of red to it, something of which I am not particularly fond.

Third band's a charm. This one looks best with the Space Gray watch.

This is the 3rd band I've purchased for my Space Gray watch. My black fluoroelastomer band has been worn the most, then I purchased a black woven nylon for more formal occasions. This Black Sport Loop is the best of the bunch because it is so light and comfortable, and looks so good in real life. It works well with the Space Gray model. I work out with it and it comes through the shower just fine. I think it dries quickly, although others have complained about it soaking up water. The loop adjustment feature lets you make fine adjustments so you can keep the pulse sensor close to your skin, without it being too tight or loose. I think my future band purchases will be this style. It looks great for casual and formal wear. I only wish it didn't cost so much. I highly recommend this band, especially in this color. (yeah, it's not completely black, but that's what makes it look so nice.)

    it's NOT black

Seriously Apple... you waited until after-the fact to sell Nike sports bands separately, why can't we buy a BLACK Velcro sport band now? This band is black with red throughout. Not black. Grrrr. Other than that, it's fabulous!

    I really like this band

I bought my Apple watch but didn't wear it much because I didn't like the sport band. I have big wrists and the last hole on the band was too loose, the second hole was too tight. I decided to get this Sport Loop band and I'm very happy with it. It adjusts to any size It's plenty long enough for my big wrists. It's light and very comfortable. Now I'm wearing my Apple watch all the time and taking advantage of all the things that it does for me.

A Total Winner Band for the Apple Watch

I have had the Apple Watch 1, then 2, and now 3. I had the nylon band with the first, the Nike Sport Band with the 2nd, and now the Sport Loop with the AW3. I far and away prefer this band. It is lightweight, adjusts instantly and to the exact amount of snugness you want, and dries quickly. All of that makes it great for when you are running, wearing it around or making Apple Pay purchases. No fussing around with trying to get the watch in the best hole for you, which may not be a perfect fit anyway. I wouldn't even consider going back to one of the different models. Can't see why someone wouldn't like the Sport Loop band.

Nice band, but perhaps a little pricey for what it is.

It's comfortable, lightweight, and the fit is hyper-adjustable, so you aren't restricted to clasp holes like on other bands. It doesn't pull arm-hair, which is nice.

The little flecks of thread color in the black make it look really interesting, which I like a lot. Better than if it were just a solid, boring black strap. It gives it a more premium look.

Price is a little bit steep, but you can't really get into an Apple branded watch band for less than $50, so of the 'cheaper' options available, I like this one best (although I do like my Nike Band for working out since it doesn't absorb sweat; it's just not as versatile w/ the wardrobe as it's very sporty looking and I don't always want that look.) Still, I wish it were at least made in the USA or something to justify the high price, but I dunno... maybe the way it's constructed is super expensive or something. If I can get at least a year out of it without it looking scuzzy, then I guess $50 is worth it.

While there are multitudes of third party Apple Watch bands and straps, I'm pretty much sticking w/ the Apple ones after poor experiences with the third party attachment mechanisms that slide into the watch's housing. With the first-party options, they always easily slide on and off and never get stuck, which I can't say the same for the after market ones I've encountered.

All in all, a nice addition to my AW collection of bands, and if it holds up well, I may consider this in other colors down the road.

    Comfortable, Versatile, Unique

If you're looking for the a band where comfort, style, and versatility meet - look no further. My space black series 3 Apple Watch came with the grey sports band, which I thought was nice but I found that it was restricting and felt too rubbery against my skin, and during workouts it became very sweaty and didn't have room to breathe. I went to the Apple store to check out some other bands, and I really fell in love with this sports loop. First of all, the color is very nice. Some people don't like the specks of color that show up in it, but I personally love this because it makes the strap so versatile and gives it a unique look, and can be worn with any color and really complements any outfit, and it matches the color specks on my black Nike shoes I use in the gym! But most of all, this band is infinitely adjustable, and even more importantly - it's infinitely comfortable! I put it on when I wake up and it basically disappears on my wrist, I dont feel it at all during the day, it's very light, and keeps up with me during the day. When I workout, I love that it's infinitely adjustable because I can quickly tighten it in 1 second to make sure I'm getting an accurate heart rate during my workout, and even at its tightest it's more comfortable and snug than the other sports band. I was worried it would absorb sweat, but it seems to just wick it away. I was worried the band would feel cheap, since it's not leather or silicon, but the quality is impeccable. It's the perfect band at the perfect price point.

    Comfortable band

Like most reviewers, I did not give this band 5 stars due to the color. The amount of speckles that you can see depends on the lighting conditions. It is definitely not pure black like I would prefer it to be. I knew that going in because you can actually clearly see it in the pics Apple has in the store, just need to zoom in, but I went for it anyways. It’s light and comfortable but it does feel a little weird on my wrist because of the material, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I think this will be a great band for runners especially because it feels like it will stay in place pretty well. My plan is primarily use this band when I go out for a run and at the gym. Otherwise, I’ll use a different for normal wear.

    Incredibly Comfortable

In addition to the stock Sport band, I've also tried and/or owned the Milanese Loop and Leather Loop. It's amazing to me what a difference the light weight of this Sport Loop makes in the Watch's overall comfort. Like not wearing a watch at all. I'm partial to Apple's loop bands, but this one really stands out. It's even better for me than its pricier alternatives. Highly recommended!

    Light, comfortable, flexible and secure

I gave up wearing watches in the last millennium because I make my living using computers and found that I was not comfortable wearing a watch while typing on my computer. That changed in September when Apple released their newest watch. I took a chance and ordered the series 3 with the sport loop (figuring that if it didn’t work well for me then I would give it to my wife or son). The watch was a bit of a surprise because it is very smooth and doesn’t have any uncomfortable arms or points that might dig into my skin (like watches I wore years ago). That is impressive but what really impressed me was Apple’s “sport loop” (watch band). Apple’s sport loop is very well made and is holding up great after 3 months of heavy use. It is made of a very nice flexible material that can be worn night and day because and does not cut off circulation like stiffer bands (i.e. ones made of fluoroelastomer, leather, stainless steel, etc.). The sport loop has just enough stretch and give so that my wrists are comfortable through all ranges of motion (making it wearable while exercising). I now wear my watch all day and most nights, only taking it off for charging or showering. I never thought that I would, or could, wear a watch at night but I can because the combination of the Apple watch and sport loop are so comfortable (FYI, the reason I’m wearing the watch at night is because I’m in my late 50’s and wanted to see what type of stats the watch could collect on my heart rate and sleep patterns). Like several here I love the band but hate the price; many knock-offs sell for around one quarter the price. I considered purchasing a inexpensive nock-off but after reading many of their reviews (both positive and negative), I decided that I would not trust my expensive new watch to an inexpensive look-alike. Apple’s version of a sport loop is light, comfortable, flexible and I feel secure knowing that if their loop has a problem Apple has my back.

It's as if the running gods heard me!

You won't find yourself in between two sizes with this band! The durable hook and loop fasteners allow for a simple adjustment with an unlimited choice of sizes. The sport loop is also easy to readjust while running a long distance, which keeps the heart rate data more accurate as sweat accumulates.

You will start out just wearing this on runs and then you will start wearing it throughout the day. My suggestion is to pick up 2 so you always have one ready to go while your recently used one is being cleaned and dried.

    Love the band

This was my first sport band that I bought. Loved how it looked. Loved how it felt. Loved the fit. I ended up buying more sport bands, but different colors. This is my “go-to-band” now. Can’t go wrong with the dark color especially if you have a black or space grey Apple Watch.

This is a great band for the Apple Watch

I have a few Apple and Nike bands that I routinely switched. Since I got the black sport loop I have not changed bands. For me, this is the best.

Comfortable, skeptical on the durability - too expensive.

I pre-ordered this watch band. While I did like it, for the cost I had serious doubts on the durability. My Watch1 silicon band was still going strong when I upgraded to Watch3... I don't think this nylon band with hook and loop will last... I returned it.

    Rainbow with some black.

Apple should have called this watch band Black/Rainbow or Rainbow with black accents. The Sport Loop is incredibly comfortable! If it was Solid Black like the name or black with anything other than rainbow colors, I would give it 5 stars.

Great Band If You Don't Want a Black Band

I've been wearing this band for the past 48 hrs or so and I absolutely love the feel of it. 5 stars all the way there. Where my star comes off is in the color. I have the space gray aluminum S3 and was hoping for a truer black to go with it. Now I knew ahead of time that there were other colors in the watch, but they seemed much more prominent in person than online. I will still wear it based on the comfort factor, but will be keeping an eye out for a true black sport loop sometime.

Comfortable and a good fit for workouts

First off you should know this band is light. Second its probably one of the most comfortable that apple makes. Perfect for workout where you can tighten it for better heart rate sensor readings and loosen it when your not that concerned. The colors are definetly a matter of ones personal taste and I highly recommend seeing it in person before purchasing. if your ok with the look of it, its a solid purchase.

The black is rainbow speckled and not black

Was hoping for a black band, but it has the different colors mixed in the black so I sent it back. Hoping they release the Nike Platinum one soon since I like the overall look and feel of the band. They should not have the black one listed as black though.
