    No bass?

Terrible sound. Super tinny. No bass. I'm extremely disappointed in these headphones.

They were fine, until the volume key came off all of a sudden. I tried to get them fixed, especially since I thought I was going to get good quality earphones for the price I was paying. And it turns out to repair these because "accidental damage" is out of the warranty it would be 80 dollars.

    Not reliable

I had those for 7 months, the sound is OK, but suddenly stop working, drop dead, I tried to recharge them many times, but nothing anymore. Definitely not something I will buy again, especially at that price.

Fine for Music, look elsewhere if you use them for phone calls

    The good:
    * Out of the box, they paired very quickly with my iPhone
    * Battery life is pretty good. I get between 7-8 hours when listening to music
    * I like that they hang around my neck (this is likely subjective)
    * They do a good job of sounds isolation. (People usually have to tap my shoulder when they walk up to my desk. Also, they do a great job on the plane of blocking out the engine drone)
    * Charging time is pretty fast. The fast charge option is a life saver if you constantly use them.
    * Charging on the same power cord type as the iPhone. (it's just one less cord I have to carry)

    The bad:
    * Battery life drops to about 4 hours when you are doing non-stop calls. (it's acceptable because of the quick charge. 5 min of charging will get me through a ~30 min call)
    * It's a pain to switch source devices. (i.e. I go back and forth between the iPhone and my MacBook all the time).
    * On several occasions (when paired with the iPhone), music is playing but calls are routed through the phone. So I have to physically change that when a call comes in. (that's just STUPID!)
    * I've had a lot of problems with them not working correctly when paired with my MacBook and trying to participate in skype/webex/join.me calls. About half the time, I have to spend at least 2 min going through and changing the source/output settings in the Macbook, then in the application.
    * The Mic picks up EVERY LITTLE THING IN THE ROOM! So if you try and take a call in a place where other people are talking at normal levels around you (i.e. work) the person you called hears everyone else BUT you.

I like the format a lot. I like using them for music. However, I would return them if I could. (I've had them about 45 days now and am outside the return period for Best Buy) They fail for he main reason I purchased them was to make taking phone calls easier since I participate in several "marathon" calls every day.

    Where is the bass ?!

I like that when I watch a video the audio follows the scene and is not delayed. How ever where is the bass? Horrible. I have one song that sounds good in all of my other earphones, car that doesn’t have that much bass, and these...just... Don’t call these “Beats”, no beat.

You pay for what you get

I’m mildly disappointed with this product. The sound quality isn’t the best and the base is lacking; however, they fit comforatablely and link up with my phone without a problem. This is my first beats product and my hopes were relatively high. I guess you are just paying for a brand name...

Light, good quality, and good for everyday use.

I bought these on Bestbuy after my Apple earbuds broke in the laundry machine. At first I was cautious since it was the first time I bought earbuds over $100, but after a friend told me they were good I decided to buy them. first thing I noticed was that it came with different eartips and wings. I had to use the smallest tips since my eardrum was so small. I also used the wingtips, which hurt my ear after I wore them for a long time, but my ear has grown accustomed to it and now it doesn’t hurt. The sound is very balanced, and the bass isn’t too low. I listen to rap, hip hop, and pop and they work perfectly. They charge with a lightning cable, which is convenient. They also have a quick charge, which means you get 2 hours of listening with a 5 minute charge. I wear these every minute of every day, and I forget I’m wearing them when I am at school working. These are perfect for every day use. Any problems with them falling out of your ear is your problem, and not the earbuds’. I would recommend it, especially at the price I got them for at BestBuy.

    These headphones are bad

These headphones are not bad. Great sound and battery. But in three weeks of use, the right speaker busted. $109 wasted and its $80 to fix it. Not recommended.

    Great fit

I had problems at first because my ears were hurting but I just didn’t push the earbuds too deep and I was good. The option of wingtips and eartips are good. Plus great battery life. Very comfortable to wear. Sound is good!

    Pretty Awful

I bought these because I've like the rubber earbuds as they block out noise better than the white plastic air pods, especially if you are in the subway. So far I've tried every single earbud size that comes with this product and none are snug and secure. The wind blows and they fall out. My jacket or scarf brushes against it and it falls out. The sound quality is also just mediocre and I find myself upping the volume to try and mask it.

After two months of use, I'm ready to give up on these. On top of this, I spend all day in the office charging them and have now experienced twice a dead battery on my 25 minute commute.

It drops the connections and unstable.

I've been using this earphone almost a year and had to replace due to malfunction months ago.

With the first Earphone with iPhone 6S+, (1) it forgot the saved Bluetooth connection setting and made me reconnects with the phone several times. (2) It gave me redlight even after charging it 8 hours overnight.

With the replaced Earphone with iPhone X, (1) it doesn't give me the power on and off tone most of the times, so I don't know whether it's on or off unless I manually check the phone or wear off to check the light. (2) Its Bluetooth connection is VERY unstable when being turned on.

This product is unstable to use, and the quality of the product likes $10 Bluetooth earphone from Groupon.
    I wouldn't recommend it.

Used and abused. They ask for more.

I’m an audiophile. I enjoy quality sound. When the Beats line first came out (years ago), they were criticized for having super compressed audio built in. They were also super expensive- you were paying for the name. The only workout headphones you could get were the PowerBeats and they weren’t great.

The Beats X have solved all of these problems and more. I’ve owned my set since they came out and honestly, it was the best purchase I have ever made with earbuds. I’ve tried the Jaybirds (x2 and Freedom) and they actually hurt my ears. I’ve tried the Bose and they felt clunky. I’ve tried the AirPods and- ..sorry, I had to pick them up off the floor because no Apple headset has stayed put in my ears since they stopped including the black foam cover!

The Beats X are extremely convenient. Pairing is simple. Turn on/off is just the hold of a button. The magnetic tips are genius and great to keep them from dangling. Sound quality is very good, provided you get the right fit. Beats doesn’t advertise them to be sweat or water-resistant, but I live in Seattle and do an intense 30-min cardio routine every morning. Zero issues, ever. I actually abuse my set and they can keep up wonderfully. 10/10 rating from me.

I’m actually about to buy another pair after writing this review. PS- I own the Beats Studio Wireless headphones and the Beats X put up a good fight! Cheers, y’all.

The other secret you didn’t know

My headphones never seem to stay connected to my phone. I had a iPhone 6 Plus and and now and iPhone X. It didn’t dawn on me to look up why this keeps happening until one of my corworks just brought on and told me it keeps dropping from being connected too. If I’m wearing the headphones and take or leave my phone it still drops connection. This is extremely annoying since i work in an open space and my music randomly burst out loud when it suppose to be connected. It’s too late to get my money back, but go buy a different pair fo your self

Just got them this Christmas and today I slipped on the ice with them in my hand and scuffed the pretty good. My hand absorbed most of the blow but on further inspection there was scuff marks on what I assume is the battery housing. This was the first time that they have been dropped or suffered an impact. They have to last at least the first couple of drops because Someone’s going to drop them eventually and I did. Just disappointed in the quality and durability of the beatsX that apple sells for $150. I’ll will be in touch with apple support or head to my local apple store and try to replace them or return them with the warranty and the original box.

    Great wireless earphones

Great sound quality, fits comfortably, easily connects to my iPhone 8+. Also sounds great during phone calls. I even connected my beatsx during a phone call with no problem. I would highly recommend these.
