    HORRIBLE!!! - Cant give 0 Stars!!!

    Working on my second case now. First one fried after a month. Second one is now dying after 2 months. Of course you have to take time to take it back to an Apple store to get it replaced and wait 5-10 days to get the replacement. It will turn off and then turn on all by itself. Apple should be ashamed to have their name on this product!

    I specially waited to buy a new phone bc of the Smart Case. When I found out they came out with the case for the XS I jumped on getting a new phone. However, the case DOES NOT WORK. Seeing all the reviews below I'm not the only one with the problem. I'm on my 3rd case and I was determined there was something wrong with my phone until I came across these reviews. Works for a few weeks then in and out of charging, vibrating every two seconds bc it does not hold a charge. VERY annoying. Luckily my case is still under warranty. I want my money back. They need to recall this product and get this issue fixed ASAP!!!

    Just like the rest of these reviews... 2 months in the connection got flakey. Constantly disconnects and reconnects. Impossible to use in the car. Stay away from this.

    A complete waste of money and time

    I've gone through Five, I kid you not five of these batteries. They stop charging every few weeks or so. And seeing as it's outside the return policy until I cannot replace it, I am so very unfortunately cursed to keep replacing this retched case. For the love of god and all things holy do not buy this case.

    Connection issues after a couple of months

    Good at first. But after two months it constantly connects and re-connects to my iPhone. Unacceptable for such an expensive product. Unreliable.

    3rd case in 4 months

    This is my 3rd case replacement in 4 months. This is pretty unacceptable for £130 accessory. Clearly need to be recalled to improve reliability. Constant disconnects from the phone for what ever reason is what I accept from a high end product. Apple care team refuse to admit there is an issue even thought its posted all over the internet.

    Not a good quality

    I bought it the black one for my IPHONE xs and after 2 months using phone started with problems....sometimes charge and than stop .first time I noticed was using CarPlay and than suddenly charges and phone and not. I pid more than100 bucks for a quality product very disappointed . If you see other comments hers they all tell Same problem. Why does not apple make a recall.?!

    Bought an iPhone XS and this case exactly ONE month ago and the case has already stopped working. I haven't dropped my phone or done anything that would warrant the case breaking so quickly. When I swipe to the right to see my battery life, it shows my case staying at "100%" while my iPhone XS battery steadily drops until it dies and shuts off. Will be returning immediately.

    Expensive and doesn't last

    These are great...while they work. Which for me was less than a year before the connection between the case and the phone went weak and began to disconnect during CarPlay, not charge when plugged in, or not transfer power to the phone. Tried cleaning contacts, etc nothing. Just a poorly designed connection that stops working over time. Also, the rubber coating on the battery starts to peel like a sunburned vacationer after a couple of months of usage. It looks really shabby to have little bits of rubber hanging off your phone. Not impressed Apple.

    Broken in less than two months.

    Same as other reviews. I had the last version and loved it. This one is not quite right. It stays on the phone 24/7 yet after two months the case has started connecting and disconnecting all the time. Support is useless and the product unreliable. You cannot get a replacement as there is no inventory and you cannot get a refund without jumping through hoops that cost you more in time than the case is worth. Do not purchase unless quality improves.

    like it, but quality is bad

    worked good for a while - like a few months. now it doesn't hold charge enough. takes forever to charge on wireless pads (I have to plug in case to charge it). also the case is ripping on the sides. poor poor quality and disappointed given price. I've had other mophie cases in the past that were better than this garbage

    Does it’s job

    This works great. I don’t have to charge my phone for at least 12 hours with heavy web use. My first one died a month in and I got a replacement which has served me well since. The thickness is worth the extra life.

    Avoid this Case

    I am now on my third case. The first 2 I had both stopped accepting a charge after 30 days. There is obviously a defective batch of these manufactured. The smart battery case for my iPhone 7 lasted for over a year. I would not purchase until Apple recognizes that there is an issue with these cases and recalls the bad ones. The warranty they providing with the defective cases is not worth the headache the case will eventually fail.

    Unreliable product

    I have experienced the same intermittent power issues until the smart battery case finally stopped taking charge. I spent two or more hours with support to get a replacement. The replacement took 3 weeks to arrive and I had to pick it up at the Apple store. Now the replacement case is doing weird things like not charging the phone even when the battery is charged. I had to reinsert the battery in order to get it to charge the phone.

    As other people pointed out the battery impacted my phone battery health from 98% to 94%. I am giving the battery another week before deciding to ask for a refund. Clearly there are quality issues that Apple must address to make this right.

    Was good while it lasted (2 months)

    For 2 months it was great. Then it started connecting and disconnecting in my pocket (causing a vibration and making me check the phone). It was so common that I took it to the Apple store. They said they haven't hear about this problem and told me there was nothing to do about it at the moment. One month later, the whole case quit charging. I took it back to the apple store and they said they'd replace it but they are out of stock. So I'm guessing (hoping) Apple pulled them all while they fix the issue. Meanwhile I'm out 100+ bucks and have this stupid thing sitting on my desk.

    Great until it stopped working!

    Stopped working after 3-4 months. It started with random disconnects to frequent disconnects. Now, it does not charge at all. Poor quality for a very expensive product.

    Stopped Charging

    Case lasted roughly 3 months before the charging port just stopped working. Can no longer charge. Useless. I owned one of these smart cases for a previous iPhone model and it outlived the phone. Something is not right.

    Stay away, bad build and impossible to replace

    If it were just overpriced that would be one thing, and I was quite happy with it for about a month. Now the silicone is stretched out and it constantly loses connection to my device (constantly as in 6-10 times per hour, it's infuriating). Now I've been waiting over two weeks to have it replaced under warranty and still have no idea when or even if I'll get another.
