    Disappointed

    • Written by Gavin L from Milford

They are great audio is really great sounds reallllly good best thing I heard for an earbud , but I did run into problems like the charger that comes with the AirPods ( it’s the new charger that come with the new iPhone 11 Pro ) and the new AirPod pro did not come with the block for the charger. I’m just confused why Apple would do something like that, that means that I will have to go to the Apple store and buy a block that should have come with the new AirPods , but honestley, they should of gave us the regular apple charger that can fit into any block . It’s just annoying that I’m going to have to buy a new block just for my AirPods . :(

Good Shape for Ear Canal but Accident Waiting To Happen

    • Written by RSE R from Plymouth

    Pros:
    - Shape of the ear piece for narrow ear canals is outstanding...way to go Apple!
    - Cool "Apple" look.
    - No wires.
    Cons:
    - Air Pods have to be TURNED in/out of the case to put in/out the ear...increases risk of dropping...."turning" need doesn't make engineering/design sense for customer
    - Air pods are tiny and without friction point/s for grip/holding...too smooth for smooth/soft fingers...increases risk of dropping.
    - Air Pod case is without friction point/s for grip...too smooth...increasesrisk of dropping.
    - White color only is "Apple", but a bit passe'.
    - Would like "find my Air Pods" option.

    Crazy AirPods review

    • Written by Isaac R from Everett

I’ve had my AirPods for bit, and all I can say is that they have been the best purchase I’ve made. The sound quality is good, and it works perfect with my iPhone.

Storytime: At school, i dropped my AirPods in the cafeteria and picked them up. Only 15 minutes later, I opened the case and realized the AirPods were gone. I had checked the security cameras, and realized the janitor had sweeped them up. (Not the janitors fault) Later, I had to go through all of the trash cans and rang my AirPods with the find my app, and eventually found them. All in all it took me an hour to do this. And apple should make it so the AirPods don’t fall out of the case so easily.

    • Written by Richard F from New Brunswick

they are really good ear buds they are nice and they have a unique design but i gave them a 4 stars because if you lose them you can only track them when they are opened its pretty stupid and i fell like apple should makes some changes beacause the are really expenseve to not be able to track them when they are closed

    Not For Everyone

    • Written by Renato C from CHICAGO

Wearing these made me remember that I'm sensitive to certain EM signals. When I first tried these, I kept feeling a certain pressure in the left side of my head, close to my ears. It was only after I turned off Automatic Ear Detection that the pressure stopped.

You need to know how AirPods work.

    • Written by Karen S from McAllen

Yes to your dismay, some AirPods are not perfect. Mine sometimes disconnect from my phone that I have to reconnect again. BUT when I reconnect, I have no problem just reconnecting it. It doesn’t hurt to do it, so I don’t know why people complain if it takes a couple of seconds to do it. I got mine from my carrier and I was able to pay monthly $6 (or more). That was convenient. The battery for me lasts a long time, and I can go months without using it and it will still have battery. It charges fairly quick too. Other than that, I take good care of my AirPods because I know how expensive they are so I don’t treat it like s***. Yes, the downside is that it doesn’t have “good” bass which depends if you like it or not. Overall I think it’s a good product, you just need to get used to it.

    Excellent headphones, for apple only.

    • Written by Johnny C from Houston

I Enjoy using my AirPods, they fit comfortably in my ears and never fall out on their own. The sound quality is the best it could be for the size of the head phones and with a long battery life and a quick charge time it enables hours of non stop usage. The Bluetooth pairing is simple and fast and almost never disconnect on their own, the range of the connection is surprisingly high you don't have to be right next to the phone for them to work. The portable charging case is a great addition with its own day long battery charge my AirPods last all day, the double tap feature on them allows for easy access to siri or to change songs, pause music, very convenient. My only quarrel with these headphones is their use is very limited to apple brand products, I understand the company made them and it works best on their devices but many other wireless headphones work on all devices the same.

Pretty good true wire less ear buds

    • Written by George H from Kennewick

The battery life is just above average, the sound is good but it has very good clarity compared to the ear buds, and it makes it a better listening experience compared to the wired Apple earbud

    Good stuff

    • Written by Emily T from Nashville

I used them all the time but they kept breaking and I kept having to go to the apple store to get replacements airpods, but I called customer support and they helped me so much in getting a replacement pair for the broken ones. They now work perfect. I think the second generation of airpods has some new stuff and fixed whatever issue was happening. So that’s good news. I use them all the time definitely worth the purchase

    Good not great

    • Written by Anastasiya T from Jamaica

I fell in love with them at first. Perfect quality of the sound! Plus they’re super easy to use. Battery life is good. But in about 3 months right airpod stopped working. I tried everything to fix it and then decided to go to an Apple store. The guy at the store told me they would replace it with a new pair but I bought them at T-mobile store which means I can only use a Genius Bar to fix it. Which is perfectly understandable. At a Genius Bar they gave me new right AirPod within 40min. I was so happy I got my issue fixed. But then only 1 month later it stopped working again. And I really appreciate Apple’s warranty on those but I didn’t expect to encounter so many problems in less than 6 months. This time I just don’t have the energy to go through another replacement. Plus they’re getting really uncomfortable with continuous use.
Overall I really like them but decided to go with a different brand of wireless earbuds. But the quality of the sound is undeniably better on AirPods. So if you decide to purchase make sure you buy it only at Apple store. It will save you some time if there is an issue.

The Apple AirPods are great. I accidentally left them in my pocket and they went through the washing machine and dryer and they were perfectly fine. The battery is great and I use them almost everyday for my music. This product is spectacular

    • Written by Kristina D

When I got them they were good at first but then people kept telling me they could hear my music even when the volume was at one bar. Also even when I tried to turn up the volume all the way I could barley hear. They are also impossible to find.

    Great for the most part!

    • Written by Griffen K from Chesapeake

I've been through 4 rounds of AirPods due to connection and quality issues. I've had the first generation and also the second generation, both having to be replaced for various issues. On my first generation AirPods, one of the AirPods had muffled audio for some reason and one had to be replaced under warranty. On my second generation AirPods, one of the AirPods wouldn't connect to my phone after the battery was low and died, despite trying to forget and continuously charge the device. My local Apple Store ended up replacing the AirPod with the issue. Not even a month after getting my right AirPod replaced, my AirPods died due to low battery and then my left one wouldn't show up. AirPods are great and I'd recommend them to anyone, however I do not understand the issue I'm having as I've done nothing to damage either pair of AirPods.

    Good Sound, but Limited Functions

    • Written by Wayne Y from Sunnyvale

I do like my AirPods a lot, as far as the sound quality and convenience. They're better than my Plantronics BackBeats that I use for exercise, and there's a good richness to the sound that you don't get from the free headphones that come with an iPhone. My AirPods pair quickly with my iPhone as soon as I put them in my ears, and I haven't had any connection issues. The range is pretty good, too; better than my BackBeats. That said, the AirPods are very limited in design and function. You can set the left earpiece to either play/stop or skip forward with a double tap. And that's about it. There's no volume up/down or skip back. I also don't like how slippery smooth the AirPods are. They can easily slip out of your fingers if you're not careful. I wonder if Apple made them that way so people lose them more easily... Overall I enjoy my AirPods and use them regularly. They should be priced more around $100, but with Apple products you pay a premium.

    Very good, but...

    • Written by Bruce F from MINNEAPOLIS

Disclaimer: I am an Apple addict, and fussy about my music (classical and rock). I got these to go along with my Pioneer Rays (High end and expensive) earphones. The wires bothered me quite a bit. These sound very good, but perhaps slightly below the Rayz, (I’m still getting used to them). Some reviewers say they stay in your ears very well, even with sweating or exercising. My left one falls out very easily. Maybe it’s just something about that ear, but I worry about it hitting the floor and breaking (someone said the replacements are way too expensive). I am considering returning them, but I like the sound, and the wireless feature is really nice. As others have commented, Apple doesn’t give their stuff away, do they?

they're good but can be much better!

    • Written by GURSAGAR S from Dix Hills

I want to start by saying, you shouldn't call the airpods garbage just because they malfunction because you took poor care of them or because you lost them due to your own neglect and inattention. these ear phones are actually really nice and stylish. I used to be super anti-airpods when they came out but I decided to try them for studying because I was tired of having to move the wire constantly from under my books and I'm glad i gave them a chance. granted apple doesn't put the best of the best tech in their products but anything they make is sort of a super hit with the public and they try to upgrade and give us a tiny bit more with each model (sort of teasing us with its capabilities)

    review of the airpods themselves:
    Pros:
    - stylish and lightweight (you can literally forget you're wearing them)
    - good battery life with quick recharging and a stylish charging case,
    - quick bluetooth connectivity (3-5 seconds tops to connect to the macbook),
    - output volume at the highest setting is LOUD (obviously right! i mean to say you can turn up the volume to drown out environment noises) or you can keep them at a decent volume and be able to hear your music/shows/videos while still have an "open ear" to your surroundings,
    - super portable! come-on, can you literally take them ANYWHERE in your pocket/backpack/luggage without having to deal with tangled wires or the stress and hassle of folding elegantly to making sure the wire isn't catching/ pulling so as to prevent damage.

    Cons:
    - my biggest peeve about the airpods is their molding. I truly believe these can be absolute perfection if apple would just take a moment to really go over their production to make sure the molds are joined perfectly without any overhang or rough edges. I mean, it's common sense, considering what we're paying for these. the rough edges all around and on the ear piece itself tend to irritate my tragus and concha every now and then causing my ear to start burning and then i have to stop using them the rest of the day. it's such a simple fix to make all rounded edges and make sure the 2 joins are perfect. so apple please get on top of this.
    - sadly it doesn't end there as much as i wish it did. i know airpods have the double tap feature to allow a variety of functions but IT DOESN'T WORK! more metaphorically than literally because it does work (some times) but EVERY OTHER TIME I had found myself trying to use this feature to no avail and have just given up. I'm almost having to tap too aggressively to get it to work and thus i rather pause/play/skip using the phone/laptop than frustrate myself with the double tap feature.
    - the only other problem i have with the airpods is that there is sometimes a static lasting .5-1 sec which continues to come and go throughout that days use or just once and doesn't happen again. i can understand this sort of interference from $10/$20 earphones but not $160 ones!
