What’s New in this Version
The 10.4.11 update is recommended for all servers currently running Mac OS X Server Tiger. This update includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes or compatibility updates for the following applications and technologies:

- copying files over AFP from Mac OS 9 computers
- membership issues when users are in more than 16 groups
- correctly handling the FTP LIST command
- high availability failover between Intel and PowerPC servers
- registering servers on the local network with Bonjour
- proper handling of aliases on UFS and Xsan volumes
- setting ACL permissions when using chmod
- creating NetBoot or NetInstall PowerPC images from a volume
- avoiding memory panics in 2GB and 4GB RAM configurations
- time zone changes for 2007
- previous standalone security updates
