Overview
This traditional design is made from a calf leather that ages naturally over time to acquire a beautiful patina. A contrasting interior lining creates a dramatic two-tone look, and the colour-matched edge stitching provides a subtle complement. The square buckle is spring-loaded, making it easy to insert the strap. Like all Apple Watch straps, you can match this strap with any Apple Watch case of the same size.

Not exactly. I have the black leather band and it has a shiny stainless steel buckle. The sport band Not exactly. I have the black leather band and it has a shiny stainless steel buckle. The sport bands (nylon) have more of a matte finish to them when compared with the leather band. Essentially I think the logic is that the leather band hardware is made to match the stainless steel case, and the sport bands are made to match the matte aluminum cases. You could really use the leather band with any of the cases however.

Its leather, its going to change over time depending on what your doing, how active you are and the Its leather, its going to change over time depending on what your doing, how active you are and the weather conditions your in. Most likely will get stained on the inner fabric by sweat and by dirts and liquids on the outside on the leather. If you like the clean/new look in the picture just know that its not always going to look like that. Some people like the idea of leather getting worn, some don't.
