Art Lab for Kids: Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center
0 more sessions
Explore how to help kids become responsible digital citizens with the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center (SEEC). Kids and parents will join SEEC directors Meredith McMahon and Cynthia Raso to explore ways to encourage kindness and empathy by processing emotions in a healthy way. Kids will practice calming exercises like drawing in Procreate or sketching in the Notes app on iPad.
For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.
Meredith McMahon has worked in early childhood education for over 25 years. She believes that children are capable learners, especially when offered hands-on, experiential opportunities.
