      Lightning Fast Faults!

Since my partner and I bought eac I still have at least 8 '30 pin' cables for iPods, iPhones & iPads, which have all lasted all this time, with not one fault. Since my partner and I bought each other the iPhone 5 in January, we've had 3 faulty 'Lightning' cables each. Yes, Apple will replace them under the warranty, providing you return the faulty one! If not, they will relieve your credit card of £15.00 and leave you with yet another cable which will break within a month. This is clearly a very poor design and one which needs to be addressed by Apple immediately. Come on guys. Your quality control is going down the pan here!

      Very cheap quality.

I bought my iPhone 5 in November last year, and tomorrow I have to go replace my cable for the 3rd time. When will Apple design one of a better quality, that do I bought my iPhone 5 in November last year, and tomorrow I have to go replace my cable for the 3rd time. When will Apple design one of a better quality, that doesn't stop working after a few weeks? I refuse to spend any more money on these cables and will be sending a complaint.

      Good cables if looked after!

I've never had a cable fail (yet) and I've been using the lightning cable since 2012, My wife on the other hand has but she does the above, pulls it from the cord! Only reason i didn't rate this 5 is because the price increase from £15 to £19 cannot be justified!

      Soddy and expensive

Have had my iPhone for about 18 months and am now on my 4th cable. They all fray no time. I agree with the other comments that this is a bit disgraceful. At £19 Have had my iPhone for about 18 months and am now on my 4th cable. They all fray no time. I agree with the other comments that this is a bit disgraceful. At £19 per cable, 3 replacement equate to just shy of £60 to keep my phone running. Lightning products are really not good value for money - maintenance costs are way too high.
