Overview
Made for the storyteller in you, the DJI OSMO Mobile 2 Gimbal for iPhone is a hand-held stabiliser that works with the DJI GO app to turn your iPhone into a smart motion camera. It makes everything you shoot look smooth, professional and ready to share. OSMO Mobile 2 automatically tracks your subject, captures stunning motion timelapses or even streams a moment live around the globe. It also offers the freedom of a lighter design, more intelligent functions and a longer-lasting battery.
Be in the moment
ActiveTrack technology built into the DJI GO app allows the OSMO Mobile to automatically keep your iPhone facing you as you move. You no longer have to choose between recording a moment or taking part in it.
Effortlessly smooth video
If you’ve ever walked around while shooting video with your iPhone, you’ll know how hard it is to keep your camera still. OSMO Mobile smooths and even cancels out the movements you make, stopping camera shake and turning every shot into cinematic video.
Time in motion
Turn everyday situations into memorable moments with Timelapse. Shoot blooming flowers and rolling clouds, recording all their movements in a stable shot. For an even more dynamic effect, Motion Timelapse lets you move with the camera while creating equally smooth video.
Cinematic zoom control
For aspiring filmmakers, a new built-in zoom slider lets you completely operate your iPhone camera from the handle with more fluid, cinematic zoom. You can even produce dolly zoom — a visual effect that only professional film sets could produce.
Reveal a bigger world with panoramas
Relive breathtaking landscapes with high-definition panoramas. The Osmo Mobile 2 moves automatically to capture multiple photos, then stitches them together to create a seamless image. You can also set your iPhone camera to Landscape or Portrait mode, giving you ideal options for every picture.
All-new portrait mode
The Osmo 2 Mobile now allows you to mount your iPhone in Portrait mode. As the default orientation for live streaming apps, Portrait mode also helps you take landscape panoramas and supports all shooting modes and functions.
Designed for hours of live streaming
Go live with up to 15 hours of battery life. The Osmo Mobile 2 can also charge your iPhone for hours of streaming.

What is the solution for Osmo Mobile 2 fighting with the iPhone's Optical Image Stabilization?
- Asked by Nicolas D from Brooklyn

Answer
(as an update to the answer below) An expert actually explained the Optical Image Stabilization issu (as an update to the answer below) An expert actually explained the Optical Image Stabilization issue and showed the phenomenon in a video on YouTube titled "DJI Osmo Mobile — 10 Tips For Smoother Videos [4K]". The OIS explanation starts at 3:47. To summarize his findings, the OIS actually CAN be turned off in the DJI app (also in the Filmic Pro app), however the iPhone lens is still floating and can be shaken, even when using a gimbal, and particularly when walking and especially when running. The vibration of the steps still translates through the gimbal, causing the lens to shake, resulting in jittery video. It would be great if Apple took this into consideration in the new phone designs with an option to "lock" the lens in place so it cannot move at all. It seems some Android phones already have this capacity. Hoping the next iPhones will too.

Answer
Duh. My mistake. I did not notice that there are TWO ports. One with a micro usb-B for charging the Duh. My mistake. I did not notice that there are TWO ports. One with a micro usb-B for charging the Osmo 2 Mobile, and around the other side of the gimbal shaft a second port with a USB type A port, to which a USB-A to lightning cable can be inserted to charge the phone.
