Stops working after a few back ups

Bought this as was a USB-C connection for fast time machine back ups After a few back ups disk drive seems to cease to function, and decides to delete all file Bought this as was a USB-C connection for fast time machine back ups After a few back ups disk drive seems to cease to function, and decides to delete all files through my MacBook Pro and crash the MacBook - back to using my old USB seagate drive via an adapter and that works fine like it always did on my previous MacBook Pro. Poor drive and definitely not worth purchasing

Terrible - Apple warranties do not cover this product- avoid

Bought this product under a year ago, only used it twice. On the third occasion to back up my MacBook, the Hard drive failed. After contacting the Apple support Bought this product under a year ago, only used it twice. On the third occasion to back up my MacBook, the Hard drive failed. After contacting the Apple support, they informed me that it was broken (obviously) and I should contact the manufacturer; Apple had no responsibility despite being purchased through Apple. Will never buy an accessory through Apple again.
