  • Overview

Beats Pro Over-Ear Headphones are made for heavy-duty use in the studio or in the club. Delivering superb audio, Beats Pro headphones give you deep bass response and sound across the spectrum. That's because they use no amplification or noise cancellation circuitry that adds other frequencies, colours the sound or compromises bass response.

    The sound of the studio

By putting back the quality lost in modern-day file compression, Beats Pro headphones let you hear music the way it was originally heard by the artist in the studio.

    Clear highs and deep lows

Steel and aluminium construction gives you a solid interior sound platform that provides the kind of bass that resonates deep in your chest when you play your music.

Tough, durable – built to last

No cheap plastic, no frayed cords. Beats Pro headphones are made with an aluminium gun metal frame with a black matte anodized finish, encasing overstuffed leather earcups.

    True noise reduction

Heavily padded, pivoting ear cups give you a noise-cancelling effect without the need for power switches or batteries. It’s the real studio monitor experience in a headphone.

    Easy to share

Plug your headphone cable into one earcup and the other automatically switches into output mode, letting your friends hear what you hear.

    Highlights

Studio quality for ultra-accurate recording, mixing and playback

Greater earcup foam density and precise fitting shut out external noise for awesome accuracy and clarity

Plug your cable into one earcup and the other port switches to output mode, making it easy to share what you're listening to

Backward rotating ear cups make it easy to monitor the room, studio or club with Beats Pro headphones at all times

Yields superior sound isolation with maximum comfort and minimal ear fatigue

Ear cups are removable and washable

The heavy-duty, gold-plated 1/4-inch adapter ensures you're ready for any setup; attached tether prevents it from being left behind at your last gig

    Did You Notice?

You can daisy-chain additional headphones to Beats Pro so your friends can hear your mix with their headphones on.

      Amazing

Some say that you pay for the brand with Beats, but these Pro ones are amazing and worth every penny. The bass is not too overpowering, just the way I want it: Some say that you pay for the brand with Beats, but these Pro ones are amazing and worth every penny. The bass is not too overpowering, just the way I want it: I want the high sounds to come through clear. Everything sounds amazing. Also, the build quality is awesome, there's almost no way to break these even if you travel a lot...they fold into a small space nicely. Noise cancellation isn't the same as in the Studio ones, but it's enough and even in an airplane you can hear just fine, you just have to crank the volume up.

      Best Headphones I have had

By far the best headphones I have had. I have never any problems with them, and even after a couple of years, they still sound perfect.

Between these two, I have tried other, similar (price wise) headphones from well known brands. But in my experience, most of the headphones don't come even close to the performance of the Bears Pro. Yes, they are towards the more expensive ends of the spectrum. But then again, you don't spend that amount of money on a pair of headphones if you are not serious about your music. The one thing that made this my love-at-first-beat pair was the bass. It is not overpowering and it is not meek either. It sort of hits the sweet spot every single time! The only con is that you can not wear this on, say, a 4 hour flight. Your ears will hurt. And the fact that the leather on the ear cups on my first pair sort of disintegrated into a white, thick powder like substance (must be the sweat breaking the leather grain) after 3-4 years of extensive use. That was the entire reason I went for the black one this year. No other faults. The headphones are exquisite and an absolute beauty to listen to equally with spotify or with my vinyl.

What I've found is that using the headphones for too long it causes ear pain, they become very uncomfortable for me. Also their weight, it might seem ok in the beginning but with time they become an extra weight in your head that you wish you didn't had before.

The al The beats pro's are very expensive, they sound good but not revolutinary by any means. The build quality is super strong and they feel great in the hand. The aluminium is excellent. However the heavy hard construction does mean they press tight onto your head when listening. I find myself needing to remove them after 15 minutes of use. I love using my headphones when watching a film on my macbook. With these it's not possible due to them being so un bearable to wear. I let my father try them a couple of times and he agrees they're just to uncomfy, so i'm not the only one. They're well styled and do have a nice heavy but balanced bass, but still i would recommend staying away from this product!
