      End cap is easily lost

So mine is lost within a month, it would be more sensible to ship a second cap with the pen than a second nib as at least the nib is hard to lose.

      Brilliant

When you are draw I got this pencil for a Christmas present and I didn't really no what to think of it but the minute I got my hands on I fell in love with it. When you are drawing there is virtually no lag and is very responsive and has a nice feel and weight to it also there are lots of apps to choose from which support the pencil

It works great with my iPad and although it sometimes unpairs which is annoying usually works first time and is very easy to use. Unfortunately the glass screen of the iPad is too slide to use the pencil on and I feel as if I have too little control. I am not a particularly seasoned artist and certainly not with digital tools but even for things like note taking I feel like theres not enough control nor tactile surface response. Having said that I use it all the time for notes and photo editing and it works a treat, its so easy to carry it around and I feel like I can just chuck it in my bag like my other pencils/pens which I never could with the thick and rubberised Wacom pens. I have been considering getting a matte screen protector to help make it feel more paper

      Didnt work for me.

Straight up not an artist, it was bought in the hope I could use it to replace a notepad and pen, alas I find writing really hard, sounds odd but its too quick Straight up not an artist, it was bought in the hope I could use it to replace a notepad and pen, alas I find writing really hard, sounds odd but its too quick to control and all writing is illegible, Tried a few drawing apps and its seemed pretty good, loved the way it did shading understanding pressure and angle - guess that its purely designed for drawing. Tried a photo editor tool and really couldn't get to grips with it. No idea how the sample pictures & drawings are done, needless to say ralph steadman I am not and this is not going to get me closer. + points Easy to charge either by the plug or pop it in the ipad for a quick charge. Nicely balanced - points Nib easily lost Charger converter (plug to pen) easily lost Pen charger cover easily lost Rolls off the desk easily so keep 'tack' handy Looses connection all the time having to re-sync to the iPad. If you are a serious artist it might be worth getting, if not I really wouldn't bother, it does make a very good, albeit expensive and awkward mouse.....

The best digital drawing device around.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel the Apple Pencil is misunderstood. The Apple Pencil is only going to benefit digital artists. All the bad reviews on I don't normally write reviews, but I feel the Apple Pencil is misunderstood. The Apple Pencil is only going to benefit digital artists. All the bad reviews on here are from users who require a stylus and not a drawing aid, so they don't understand or are ignorant of the real purpose. This is by far the best digital drawing device around, I also have a Wacom Cintiq 21" HD which now seem slow and laggy in comparison. The sensitivity and the ability to recognise tilt is amazing. The Apple ipad pro and pencil is actually the cheapest drawing tablet available too! If you are serious about digital art then the ipad pro and pencil is the perfect tool, bar none! The pencil is only going to benefit a small number of users, but I'm so glad Apple decided to produce something for such a small market. This is Apple at is best and back to what they were originally know for, technology that's connects to is users.
