If I knew then what I know now, or the benefit of hindsight

Sound quality - fine. The broad 'tangle free' cable is also very good at transmitting, with every little movement and knock of the cable, a nice intrusive 'donk Sound quality - fine. The broad 'tangle free' cable is also very good at transmitting, with every little movement and knock of the cable, a nice intrusive 'donk' into your ears. Which, seeing as walking around whilst listening is pretty much at the top of the list of what you do with earphones, is reprehensible design stupidity on the part of Beats (which is now Apple, I am told). A cynic might regard these earphones as a way of getting you to pay £90 to promote to yourself the virtues of wireless earphones. The bog standard apple earphones have a tanglier cable that doesn't transmit noise at a third of the price.
