Apple Support Says to never put FCP libraries on a RAID. So, why do these drives come that way and say they support FCP?

FCP Libraries shouldn't be stored on a typical RAID system. However, the Pegasus2 uses a Thunderbolt connect to you Mac which provides up to 20 Gb/s. This connection and RAID system "can ingest, edit, and playback multiple streams of ProRes 422 (HQ)."

Further to my last answer, it's worth remembering that Apple's first demonstration of FCP X used a Pegasus drive setup in RAID.
