Can I use this charger to charge my iPhone and iPad by using the USB-C to USB adapter and then a regular lightning cable?

  • Yes.
On the back of this charger, it specifies:
    Output: DC 14.5V 2A (PD), DC 5.2V 2.4A
Therefore, it supports both standards, it only switches 29W mode when your device is compatible with USB-C power delivery profile and requested the 14.5V charging mode.
