Does the keyboard still work when it is not attached to the smart connector?
With my Wacom tablets, I like to have the keyboard beside the screen so I can get close to the tablet to draw while keeping the other hand on the keyboard for shortcut keys.

AnswerNo it won’t, it’s not wireless. As in the name, it’s a smart connector keyboard.

Will the keyboard scratch the screen?
I saw that a lot of people have problems with the Create keyboard scratching their screens. Does this case seem like it had addressed that issue, or might this be a reoccurring problem?

AnswerIt does not. I asked a staff at Apple Store if I could have a look since I was wondering the same thing. There's a lift on left and right side of the keyboard edge to avoid the keyboard from touching the screen. I even try to push the keyboard when the case is close (imagine if you put this case in a bag and there's some pressure on the case), still fine.

AnswerThe Logitech keyboard is not going to fit the 2018 Ipad so it doesn’t matter—I have the gen 1 and the Logitech case and if I want the logitech case, will have to wait until they redesign. The connection of the 2018 Ipad pro can’t connect to the original keyboard case.

Answer
I would say probably. I don’t draw per se on it but I do write on it quite a lot. I put the stand down to the lowest angle which is quite stable and a good angle to write on. I take the keyboard off when I’m using the Pencil a lot just for the easier use of the screen/Pencil.

Best Answer:
Yes, but not comfortably. It doesn't have the same rigidity as a laptop.

Answer
Definitely no. When it is closed, there's a gap in between the keyboard and the iPad's screen so there's no contact.

Can I use iPad Pro microphone input with Logitech Slim Combo keyboard?
I have an iPad Pro with the Logitech Slim-Combo keyboard. As a keyboard, it works fine, and I am generally satisfied.
However, I like to use voice dictation when answering emails, making Notes, etc. There is no way I can see to activate the microphone from the Slim Combo keyboard, and if I bring up the iPad on-screen keyboard, the microphone selection is not there... it only shows up if I detach the iPad from the Slim Combo keyboard, which kind of defeats the purpose.
Am I missing something?

When the iPad is oriented vertically, will the kickstand in back also work to prop up the iPad for portrait viewing/reading and if so, at what angle?
- Asked by Bradford C from Woodacre

AnswerI can answer my own question--doh!--by seeing Logitech's website which has a lot more detail than Apple's here. Yes, this product does support portrait viewing, they even have a picture of someone having a video call with the iPad in portrait mode, using the kickstand, at the Logitech website. Here is their verbiage about the angle in portrait mode, "In portrait mode holds iPad Pro at one angle - 73 degrees."
