    Not impressed for £60

After buying my Macbook Air last year I thought it best to spend money on a decent case. £60 is by no means cheap- especially as you can get seemingly the same case on Ebay for £12. It does its job in terms of protecting the Macbook but the top layer is peeling away, making it look rather unattractive. Wouldn't buy again or recommend.

    Poor fit.

Purchased this product a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to attempting to fit the case to my MacBook Air 13.
First impression was that the plastic feels very cheap and insubstantial.
The lower half fitted on easily enough but the top half will not fit into place, the clips are simply not tight enough.I feel thoroughly ripped off considering the price paid!

    Not Good!!!

Considering the money paid for this case I expected a product which would last. Instead the corners on the bottom half started cracking after about a week and now the case doesn't even stay on as the corners have completely broken off. Bearing in mind I've only had it two months and have been very careful with my Mac, I'm pretty disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone.

Worked well but didn't fit right

considering the price of this case i would expect for all the clips to actually fit to my laptop and for the back not to rub against the screen. I may have just purchased a faulty product i don't know but its a bit of a disappointment.

    Brilliant Product

I have had this case for over 6 months now and two very important factors come to mind other than its protection:
    1) The matt surface means such a thin laptop can be carried under your arm when moving around, without the shiny little thing crashing to the floor - on a thin 13" macbookair, it is a factor to consider.
    2) In public areas it just looks like any other device and doesn't attract attention (when awake the apple logo is still visible, but darker).
Yes it is not the cheapest but it feels very well made, but once on, it is not designed to be taken off, but as the macbookair has no upgrade ports, this isnt a problem, and it doesnt seem to affect the running temperature either.

Ace case but at a price

A high quality case, so much better than the Speck offerings.
