    Really Disappointed

I bought this screen protector about a month ago after taking a while to decide i was assured this was the best screen protector that money could buy. After paying £25 i would have never thought this would allow my phone to smash with it just being in the small pocket of my bag considering its meant to be bullet proof. Very disappointed!

The anti-glare alone is a MUST when using the phone outdoors!

No one in the reviews has mentioned about how great this protector is at making the screen usable outdoors! That's why I felt I should write this review. I'm not the biggest fan of Apple at the moment, but I felt this screen protector was worth reviewing.

Basically, this protector makes the screen very readable and usable in bright sunlight outdoors. It was tested extensively recently on my holiday in Cyprus - you don't get test conditions than that! In the the past, whether with a protector or not, the phone would be plain awful to use outdoors. But this protector really did transform my iPhone. It reminded me of why I went out of my way to buy a refurbished MacBook Pro with a 17" anti-glare screen rather than a brand new one which would only have a 15" gloss screen. On that occasion I was right too (being able to work on my Mac by the pool).

Apple, it's all fine and good for images to "pop" with a gloss screen, but when you can't use the device in daylight...

Anyway, this screen protector would have got a full 5-stars if it was a little easier to fit. I'm normally very good about fitting such stuff but the supplied fitting cradle just made installation more difficult. I wish I just did it all by hand without the cradle. As a result, I've got the tiniest of bubbles on the edge of the screen which is playing havoc with my OCD. Oh well! If the protector lasts a bit and protects my screen, whilst making it more readable, then I'm happy!

    Top Quality Screen Protector!

Firstly I'm not really a review kind of guy however today I'll make the exception. Having to get a replacement iPhone 6 Plus 128GB today from the Apple Store in Braehead shopping Centre to the tune of £269.99, I thought I'll go all out and see what's the best protection available. Spoke with a few of the staff members and there really was only one winner! Having read the spec and hearing the advice from one of the Apple members off staff I thought "£24.99 is a bit steep but I suppose you get what you pay for", the guy also fitted my screen protector perfectly using a guide with not one bubble in sight. Now I've got home, looked at my phone at 2:47am and thought, "you know what? This screen protector is awesome! You can see and feel the difference in quality from your usual £9.99 protectors, I absolutely believe I've made a good call"

If you can't be bothered reading my short novel above.. GET ONE, THEYRE AWESOME!

    Extremely difficult to apply

Sorry, but after several attempts and following the instructions (and the Tech21 video demo on their website) Ive had to give up. Couldn't get rid of bubbles despite applying to a brand new iPhone straight out the box. Will take back and see if the staff at the Apple store will apply.

Awful quality and zero customer support

My iPhone 6 Plus was damaged and incorrectly repaired first-party so Apple gave me a 'like-for-like screen protector', which was this apparently. I had a tempered glass one before and this wasn't suitable. Quality is AWFUL - I cannot stress this enough, it is akin to the 99p ones you find on auction sites and pound stores. The 'applicator' wasn't even the right size so that didn't help. I did get it on straight in the end but on my own. 'Perfect optical clarity' is a joke too, it obscures light output significantly. But the final straw was how it scratched badly after just 3 days normal use. Took it back, got a refund. It is not even worth 99p, it is no better than the unbranded ones. Emailed Tech21 to ask for their advice and feedback, never got a response. Don't think because it's in the Apple Store and 'approved' that it's any good - it's not, it's the worst protector I've ever used...

I have a smashed screen with this on

I bought this at Christmas and while it was great at scratches and occasional drops, it doesn't go to the edge of the screen. Needless to say after six months, the law of averages means that one time the phone gets dropped slightly on the corner the screen is now smashed. And yes I did have a back/side cover too. Pointless and expensive.

    Fitting this is a lottery

I bought one of these when I got my iPhone 6. Fiddly to fit and had small air bubbles. It only lasted a few weeks before the tacky edges started to collect dust. So I left it on for a few months before the dusty and now dirty edges really annoyed me.
I decided to try another one. Why? A moment of madness. The screen was completely cleaned again, spotless or so I thought. However, it seemed that the tiniest speck of dust would cause an air bubble, and it did. Of course, you are now stuffed because any tiny little speck of dust is now impossible to remove as it is now stuck firmly to the film. And I cannot of course return it, as technically there is nothing wrong with it, other than I allowed a speck of dust to land as I stuck it on.
I guess that if you are lucky and get the screen spotless, and I mean absolutely spotless, then this is very good. However, mine are in the bin.

    Tech21 Screen Protector

It looked great when I fit it to my new iPhone 6 plus last Saturday, but it only lasted until Wednesday morning. Poor quality, it started to peel off the screen after only 3 days, I think it's going back to Apple

Some people aren't reading the instructions properly going on the two 1 star reviews.

Anyway, onto my review. Extremely easy to fit with the included template and squidgy card which does a great job of removing the air bubbles. From cleaning the screen to fitting the protector it took all of 5 minutes. Unlike other screen protectors this one is crystal clear and fits the screen perfectly. I usually buy Zagg screen protectors but was recommended the Tech21 by a friend and I'm very pleased. My only complaint is that it doesn't include 2 protectors for the price. Saying that you can see it's a high quality screen protector and the price reflects this. If asked I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a screen protector. 5 stars from me.

I bought this today and it is already in the bin. Out of all the phones and screen protectors I've ever had - this is by far the worst!

Over fiddly for what it provides, which in the main is plenty of air bubbles.

Bad experience with a very over priced product, never again!

    Fantastic fit and protection

Always used to buy the Power Support screen protectors but thought id give this a go. It seems to cover the screen better on the 6 plus vs. the Power Support one.

Easy to fit with the template and handy for future fitting if screen protectors on other 6 plus......

Bit pricey and they should include 2

    Worth Every Penny

Having had to purchase a replacement iPhone 6 plus due to my original one having significant screen damage, I thought it wise that I purchase a screen protector, particularly with getting "I told you so", from a friend.

Yes it can be difficult to get on, but if (unlike my first attempt) follow the instruction, it actually goes on very well.
A friend of mine, who had been telling me for some time to get a tech 21 case and screen protector to great delight in shocking me, by taking a hammer (relatively small) to my screen. I was SO impressed with how the protector withstood the impact.

If only I had brought one for my first iPhone 6 plus and listened to my friend, I wouldn't have to had brought a replacement handset.

I've now brought more for family and friends for a little festive present. Worth every penny!

Don't waste your money - overpriced and poor quality.

    Wast of money!
Poor fit , lumps, difficult to fit.
I removed it immediately and threw it away.
