    Not good

Sorry to say but this product is not very good. After a short time it already has broken corners leading to sharp edges that catch you as you handle your laptop. Not worth the money at all.

Slight improvements needed but good case

I have had my MacBook air for about 2 years and when i first got it i wanted a good case that was going to protect it. I bought this one from the apple store and have had it ever since, its only in the last few months that it has started to break because of wear and tear and plus I've had it for 2 years and im a student so its bound to start to crack considering its a plastic case. The only problem i do have with it is that i am the type of person that likes my apple devices to be spotless and this case allows hairs and fibres to get underneath the case which isn't fantastic, so that needs improved but other than that i find this a nice case to have for your laptop along with the travel case that i have in black which i also would recommend.

    Prevents opening laptop smoothly

This case doesn't fit well. When you open the lid it gets stuck around 90 degrees, and requires a firm push to skip over the poorly fitted plastic shell. A number of customers have reported that this ultimately leads to the case cracking, and obviously puts unnecessary strain on the hinge of your laptop lid.

When you're likely spending upwards of £2000 on a laptop you don't want a case that prevents your lid from opening smoothly, and if you have to replace the case every few months when the corners snap off it'll start getting expensive fast.

I'm doubly disappointed because the case looks fantastic, and feels great in your hands. If only I never had to open my laptop it'd be perfect! Unfortunately, as the keyboard, trackpad, and screen are hidden away inside this case is unabashedly, fundamentally broken.
