    Waste of Money

Great idea but poorly implemented. From my personal point go view a waste of time and money.
Date transfer this item, when plugged int the USB port on my iMac is frustratingly slow to the point of desperation. A folder containing 13GB of pictures took almost 50 minutes to transfer.
If I have pictures in sub folders the folders I do not seen able to individually accessible them on my iPad, What I get instead, when opening the main pictures folder, is all of the pictures in the subfolders appear to be in the one main picture folder. Useless really with thousands of photos all seeming to be in a single folder.
The app for iPhone and iPad is poorly executed to and not very user friendly or manageable.
I expected better of SanDisc. This unit is expensive for 128GB of memory and as I said in the title, to me its a waste of money!

    Very disappointing

A good idea, but poorly implemented with a very user-unfriendly interface and inadequate user instructions. It turns out that you can only transfer photos and videos from your iOS device if they are in the Photos album, everything else must be done (music, movies, documents, etc) by connecting to the USB slot on your computer, which defeats the whole purpose of having a wireless drive. The browser interface does not work either. Will be returning this to the store as it does not do what it claims to.

    Not useful

I bought this because an Apple Store assistant suggested to me to use it with my iPad. I returned it to the store next day. It didn't come with a good instruction manual and once connected to wifi it was impossible to turn it off; all PC and smart phones in the house were constantly connected to this stick, eating up a big chunk of my personal data.

    One to avoid.

This product is a clever idea executed extremely badly. The controlling iOS app is too basic and user-unfriendly. There's a lack of a decent user manual, despite there being guides included on the stick. Connecting wirelessly to a Mac took me two hours, as it's done via a web interface which refused to recognise the stick. You can connect via USB but then why bother - you can do that with an ordinary memory stick.
As for transferring files, USB connection works fine, but iOS integration fell down again - it won't transfer anything over 100MB, meaning MP4 video files are next to unusable. Since the portability and share-ability of video files is one of the main selling points this seems like something they should mention. Wireless transfer times are also much longer than USB transfer would be.
When it came to using the files I did manage to get onto the stick, neither my Sony TV or Sony Blu-Ray player would allow the stick to be used via the USB port, and it goes without saying that even the "smart" TV won't access it wirelessly.
This product was bought for me on the recommendation of an Apple Store employee, which shows how little product knowledge Apple are giving their staff these days. I'm not able to support their recommendation that this is a good product to use with Apple products. In fact, I wouldn't recommend using this at all.
