Does what it says, but not sure how accurately it trains

    • Written by Emma W from Bury St Edmunds

The Upright Go has two modes – training and tracking. Training is the one where it buzzes when you slouch, and each day you put it in this mode for longer and longer. The problem is, once you've calibrated it, it tells you you're slouching even when you're just leaning forward. For example, I was loading the dishwasher while wearing it and it buzzed at me constantly and told me I'd been doing a 'long slouch'. I ended up doing weird squats in front of the dishwasher trying not to set it off which isn't going to help my posture at all. So it seems the only way to train your posture properly is to stand or sit still for the session, which just isn't practical.

The buzz does make you stand/sit up straight, but being told you've been slouching for 15 minutes when in fact you've just been doing things that involve leaning forward or bending over is annoying and inaccurate.

    Very Effective

    • Written by Naveed K from London

I've been using this for 3 weeks now and I am very impressed so far. I was surprised by how non-intrusive it is while wearing (you literally forget it's there). Also impressed with how responsive it is to movement/posture. I can echo the other comments on here and say that it surprised me just how much I do slouch at work and for how long. The online communication is very good too. Please don't expect a quick fix, changing your posture happens slowly over time but this is a very useful tool

    Back pain improved

    • Written by Laura B from London

Bought this to improve my posture while at my desk. Wasn't sure if it would help lower back as it sticks to the top, but I found it did make me conscious of correcting myself, and I don't have the pain anymore. Great that it doesn't need t be connected to the app to work.

    Smaller than I thought

    • Written by Rebecca N from southampton

I've been trying this out for a couple of weeks now and I love it! I knew I slouched as I sit at a desk for 8 hours a day in front of a computer, but after tracking my posture with the app i've realised I slouch much more than I thought I did. Being aware of this has really eased my lower back pain that i've had for years as well as making me stand straighter and taller.

It's also smaller than I thought it would be and once it's stuck onto my upper back it can barely be seen. Really simple, cool product with quick results!

    First of its kind

    • Written by gareth J from Kingswood

Almost missed this on the shelf it was so small. Read the piece in the Metro on it and wanted to try it as my nickname is Quasimodo, I am so hunched up. Cannot shake my iphone and ipad addictions so this device reminds me all day long to keep my back straight. Easy to set up, hard to see beneath my clothes, ap is simple and user friendly. Played around where exactly to place it on my upper back but quickly found a point where the vibrations got my attention. 3 days into using it and already people saying they noticed I seem "taller". Staff at store needed to know more but Uprightpose.com very informative.
