    Far from perfect

First time of using it uploaded photos from my Nikon D2hs and from a small Kodak camera with no problems. However, tried to use it the following day and nothing happened, just an error message " Apple does not recognise device" despite several attempts it simply refused to work. Tried again a few days later it worked again allowing me to upload from 3 different cards. What will happen next time? Just a case of wait and see. I found the experience of using it frustrating in the least

    Problem solved

I had similar problems to others with the iPad mini saying the camera needed too much power when it was connected. I scrolled through other reviews and one said they wondered if the problem was that the camera wasn't fully charged. The camera had plenty of charge left but I put it on to charge fully just to try it. Once the charging light went off on the camera I plugged it back into the iPad mini using the adapter and the photos appeared! So now I know what to do but I think this should have been in the tips and troubleshooting section of the instruction booklet as a suggestion for when the power warning appears.
