    Didn't last

The case fits very well and is lovely to hold when it's on. However the quality is absolutely shocking. It started peeling and wearing in no time, within 6 months it had started to snap at the sides and then it looked so bad I took it off, very disappointing considering the price of this product. Would not recommending buying!

My grandson came back from the USA with an Apple leather case for his iPhone that worked effortlessly.
The buttons worked with the slightest press.
    So I bought this one.
It is absolutely horrible.....the buttons only work when you press so hard that it's painful.
    It''s being returned tomorrow.

How dare Apple sell this utter rubbish to us !

Really good looking and long lasting case

I bought my black leather case over 2 years ago when I bought the iPhone 6 at launch. It has lasted so well that I now have this same 2 year old case on my 1 month old work iPhone 6 and have bought the equivalent case for my new iPhone 7. I've never previously had a case last so long and look so good. I can't fault the case at all. Some cases gather dust/dirt in the edges which works its way in and scuffs the phone under the case, but my original iPhone 6 is completely mark free after 2 whole years of hard use.

Ignore any negative reviews! Can't quite describe why but for some reason when this phone has the leather casing it seems to just stick to your hand. If it hits the ground hard you'll probably still need a new screen but the chances of that happening are massively reduced by having the leather case. It also feels great. Spend £35 on this and forget about insurance because you won't need it, unless you're ultra-clumsy.

    Gets dirty FAST!

Bought the case in Saddle Brown in September, by Christmas it was pretty much black in colour. Picks up colour off sitting in my black jeans pocket, also when it's in my bag. Scratches quite easily too, but have found these buff out easily.

On the plus side - the case is nice and good quality, would buy again in black.

    Excellent case, beautifully engineered

I was nervous about getting this case having read some of the negative reviews here, but I'm glad I persevered. It's extremely well-made - snug fitting and precisely finished. Being a natural material, the leather will develop a patina over time, but a quick buff with some wax polish keeps it looking neat.
Because the case is so snug, you need to ensure that the phone is completely seated, but once in the case it's well-protected and all features are accessible. Couple with a good screen protector, this is probably the smartest way of protecting your phone.

    Premium product

I purchased my saddle brown case a couple months ago. It has aged so beautifully. That is the process with genuine leather. These are made to age over time and use. It is constructed perfectly for fit. Ive dropped my phone several times and it protects the phone very, very well. No scratches or anything on my screen after lapping it coming out of my car. If you scrap the case hard enough, it will get scratched, of course. That comes with the characteristics of leather( or mostly any other material in the world). If you dont want your case to look aged i suggest you get the black one or one of the rubber options.

    Beautiful case - doesn't last

This case feels fantastic, fits perfectly but after just two months it is dis-coloured and scratched. Such a shame as it looked fab to start with.

    Excellent case

I have a hard time finding cases and my previous 3 iphones had no cases as a result. But this case is a winner. I've had it 14 months now and it's still fine, I've dropped it onto very hard surfaces about 6 times and it has protected the phone. I'm confident I would have spent hundreds on screen replacements if I didn't have this on.

The best part is I never feel like taking it off, it is really grippy and thin and never feels like a burden. It actually makes the phone better. Also I like that it protects the camera bump. And it has a lip so you can put the phone face down on a table.

Not a good case, at all. Read this and you'll reconsider buying it!

I thought I'd go for a Premium case after purchasing my iPhone 6s, so went for this Leather Case in Saddle Brown.

Initially the case looked good and protected the phone pretty well. But, a few weeks in, the case became VERY slippy. So much so that twice when I got it out of my pocket, it flew out of my hand, up in the air and down onto the pavement! It was like someone had replaced my phone with a wet bar of soap!!

Not only this, the case marks VERY easily. I accidentally ran my nail across the back of the cover and now it has a permanent scratch mark on the back of it, making it look very unsightly. Also the case has discoloured and gone black at the corners. I'd like to add I'm a very clean person and work in an office, not on a building site and my phone has just been in my pocket with nothing else in that pocket, no keys etc.

I think for £35, this case is VASTLY overpriced and not fit for purpose. After owning it for 3 months, I now have to throw it away. You've been warned...

    Nice case but...

This is a nice case which is made of genuine leather. It looks and feels amazing but there is a massive problem. It gets dirty very very easily and it's pretty much impossible to clean it. I've tried different leather products and nothing seems to work. It's a shame as I really loved the case but I've had it for a couple of months and it ended up in the bin as it was looking very dirty. Not great considering that this is a £35 case

Let down compared to iPhone 6 leather case

Purchased the apple iPhone leather case with my iPhone 6 which was very well made and high quality. Since that purchase worked out so well, I decided to purchase the same case for my 6S, however the latest case is not as good. The case is not high quality, feels a lot more plastic than leather, and it is very difficult to use the volume control buttons and power on/off button.

    Easily scratched!

I've had a black leather case for my 5s for nearly 2 years. It has been used every day and shows very little sign of wear do I didn't think twice about getting a leather case for my 6s. Within 24 hours I had lightly caught it with my finger nail and now have a scratch across the back. The quality seems much cheaper and less robust than before.

    Very Good Case

Overall, I am delighted with my purchase. I was hesitant in buying this case after reading some reviews on here saying that the fit is awful around the phone - this is rubbish. The case fits perfectly around the iPhone 6s. It looks great, and feels like very good quality so I imagine it will last for a long time.

The only reason why I do not give it 5 stars is because the case makes it slightly difficult to press the power on/off unlock button. All of the other buttons are fine, it is just this one that - you have tor really press it down hard to activate the button. This will be something I will get used to. Other than that, the case is fantastic.

    Wast of money

I brought the leather case a two months ago and ever since it has got dirty and looks terrible Apple doesn't have any cleaning product to clean it without damaging the case. I feel i over priced. I thought it would have been easier to maintain the leather case but it looks horrible and nothing i can do about it. Never again. Such a waste of £35.00.

    Nice case but...........

Had a similar case by Sena on a iPhone 4, which is after 3 years still in very good condition. Most importantly all the controls on the iPhone were readily accessible.
Apples case for the 6S albeit very well made & very good fit does not offer the same functionality, the 'power on' & volume controls are almost impossible to operate, which is a shame as I always (used to) use the 'power on' button to wake the the phone.
Maybe Sena will make their own version in the future.
In Steve Jobs binary world something is either Abosolutely Fantastic or A Pile of S**t, this case is the latter.

    Not Great

I had the equivalent case on my iPhone 6. I was impressed with the quality and fit of the case, so I didn't think twice about get the 6S equivalent when I purchased my iPhone 6S.
First impressions are that the leather is of lesser quality than it used to be. It has a very "plastic" feel to it. But more worryingly is the fit is extremely tight. There is very little give in the corners which makes it difficult to get the phone into the case, so much so that the bottom two corners nearest the lightning port just don't seem to fit properly at all. They don't wrap around the phone like the top two corners do. The case is such a tight fit that it actually leaves marks on the phone when you insert it. These marks rub off. To be sure this case wasn't a one-off faulty one, I got a second and the issues there were worse. The case seems to bow out at the bottom where it wasn't properly fitting over the bottom corners.
Given the quality I would normally get, and expect from Apple this case is a big disappointment to me.

Bad fit at around bottom of the phone

If you put one of these leather cases on it does not fit around the curve of the phone at the base properly. Side on this means that the bottom part of screen has no protection pretty much unlike at the top and the sides further up if you put it face down, tried two both the same, the leather just cant be moulded properly I think. The silicone cases fits perfectly however, and offers better protection all round.
