I was happy at first, it wasn't the best but it done the job. The hook got very loose and broke. I used the headphones an hour or two a day. I went to book a repair and was asked to pay £80. I walked away unhappy. Money down the drain.

    Great Headphones.

I had these brought for me and I absolutely love them! So comfortable and adjustable to your ears. Music sounds great would 100% recommend.

    Poor sound!

I've tried a few bluetooth headphones and the sound quality on these is by far the worst - basically no base at all (and I'm not a base heavy fan). I'd go as far to say I'd rather run with no music than use these which is a big statement. Do yourself a favour and buy the plantronics backbeat fit which is superior in fit and music quality. Sort it out beats...

    Don't buy if you sweat!

this headphone are very nice and good sound quality. but they have many problems and will not last long i think this is very wrong for apple to sell them at 200$ and they will not last few months buy something else cheeper and better shame!

    Design Flaw

I do not normally write review but I feel strongly that this product is flawed and, as there are equivalent products out there, I wanted other consumers to be aware. I have had two pairs of these headphones (2 different generations) and both have failed in exactly the same place. There is a stress point in the structure of the casing of the headphone on the side where you plug in to charge, which makes it easy for the ear bud section to crack and fall off. on both occasions the headphones were in their case in my bag (which was just been used for normal commuting use) when this happened. This product will not last, which sadly may be the business model for this particular brand. For a product with this price tag and a company that prides itself on design, it demonstrates a lack of respect to their customers to keep reproducing and selling it without fixing it.

    Best I've ever had

Good quality sound, bass is extremely good and gives a new feeling to the music. Great for gym, very secure; doesn't feel like anything is in your ear. Definitely would recommend. Very pleased

These bears have been noting but trouble I’ve the past year. They have been back to apple ( Aberdeen store) twice with the same issue ( won’t charge /turn on). Each time was told I’d have a new set but same head phones came bacI.

Both times head phones came back with charge. After use would not charge again.

It pains me to say don’t waste your money on these. As my other experiences with beats headphones have all been positive.

    poor quality

On to my fifth set. Use them daily in the gym and i think Apple should stop advertising these as being sweat proof as they clearly are not. To be fair to apple, they replace them very quickly. But they keep breaking over and over again. Would accept a refund and move on if it was an option. I have had the following faults, not turning on, not charging, volume control not working, play/pause not working. So pretty much everything that can break, has broken at some point

Having only exchanged my faulty 3rd pair for a brand-new 4th littl eunder a month ago....I regrettably must nowwrite a NEGATIVE REVIEW for the 1st time in 20yrs using Apple product(s).

Less than 10 runs into my new wireless beats 3 and already full charge is depleted within a 2hr run/gym session....on purchase/exchange these last for DAYS on a SINGLE Full charge cycle.

I'd go for an alternative and WISHED ID NOW READ THESE REVIEWS THOROUGHLY BEFORE BUYING: Apple should really be recalling this clearly faulty product: 90% of the serious runners I know have now sent theirs back or indeed had to exchange them now ...in my Run-Club (in a HUGE RETAILERS STORE) they even now recommend we BUY ALTERNATIVES as their tired of sending people back to Apple and still having same issues only days/weeks later!!!

    I love these

Now I'm no audiophile so I don't know a thing about bass, treble and whatnot, but what I do know is that I love these earphones. I wanted something sturdy to wear during the gym or when out walking and these are perfect. They block out sounds of other people at the gym so I don't get distracted but when out walking it doesn't completely block out noise, which I find great because it still makes me aware while listening to music or playing a podcast. The volume control is easily accessible and they fit like a charm. I can't rate them highly enough.

    Keep the receipt

These are great when they are working but after just a few months they stop holding their charge. Now I have to charge then for a few hours to get 30 minutes use. Big waste of money. I wish I’d read the reviews before I bought them. Seems 9 out of 10 people have the same problem. Don’t buy!

Do not buy if you sweat at all

Returned my 4th pair today. If you buy these get them from Target or Walmart so they don't give you a hassle when (they will die for sure) they give out in less than 90 days. I've read the reviews about these malfunctioning due to sweating ( sweatproof right Apple?) , I've even made sure to wipe them constantly at the gym to avoid too much moisture accumulating on these faulty headphones. Did that work, no of course not, this is the 4th pair of headphones . Just got home yesterday after using them just fine. Charged and the next day before gym I have the infamous "blinking white light" that is all too notorious for these headphones. Do yourself a favor and don't buy these unless you absolutely aren't using them for any type of physical activity outside of walking around your house casually. I don't write reviews for anything but I've had enough of these garbage bucket headphones. Apple and Beats need to recall these seriously. Average 1.5 star review from almost 1,000 people on your own website... LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!!

    Great for gym!

They fit well and are perfect for use in the gym as the strap gives you the confidence that if one did come out you wouldn't lose it! Only negative its a little hard to get the right fit but once your happy there are good to go!

    Fourth pair ....

Really good idea, and should have been executed correctly now with apple's involvement... however I'm on my fourth pair in 18 months. I do use them daily for gym workouts or running, but I've had a pair that just wouldn't charge anymore, a pair where the control stopped working, a pair where the insides of the earpiece fell out !!! I would expect such poor build quality if they cost £50, but they don't ... Serious upgrades necessary

    Decent but unreliable.

First things first, an insight into their reliability; I'm on my 4th pair since December 2016.

When they do work they are great; they sync effortlessly with my iPhone; are comfortable and never fall out of my ears, even when doing HIIT; sound quality is decent.

However that is all moot; for a £170 pair of earphones it is ridiculous to only get a month of light usage out of them before they fail.

They should be withdrawn and redesigned asap.

    Won't last long

For me they sounded great, worked with my iWatch when running. Cool!
But they were completely dead 6 months in. ~£150 is too much for a shoddy product such as this.

    Unsuitable for serious running

I purchased these headphones a few months ago on the assumption that they would be suitable for running. However, on every run I have tried to use them they have been very loose, resulting in sweat getting into the earbuds and making them very uncomfortable within about 10 minutes. I have persevered with them on many runs, but despite trying every possible combination of earbud sizes and fits they have never stayed in place, leaving the uncomfortable sensation of sweat being pushed into the ear canal during use. I appreciate that the same set of headphones is unlikely to perfectly fit every user, but given the very high price of these headphones it is not unreasonable to expect that they were comfortable for more than 10 minutes of a workout. Overall these headphones are highly disappointing.

I am now on my 3rd set since Feb 17, awaiting my 4th. Buttons stop working, stops charging, won't turn off, list seems endless. Avoid these useless headphones.

Rubbish, they are not sweat proof

First got them in Feb 2017, now May 17 and had two pairs, same problem at first volume control started changing volume by itself, then failed completely due to sweat whilst using in the gym, three weeks later I am still trying to get a refund but they are making it very difficult, very poor product and very poor customer service...my advise is do not buy.
