    Great earphones

The earphones are very easy to connect to all of my devices. They have a nice sound with enough bass to sound good without bieng to overwhelming. Much better than any of the normal earphones and some over ear headphones that I have tried.

Beats X - great earphones but poor mic quality

Very easy to use, love the fact that they are out of the way when you do not need them in ear. However, the mic quality is under every critic. My cheap £5 earphones work much better. Constantly have to switch from Beats X to regular earphones when doing a voice call.

I am looking to return my beats x.

    Amazing

The earphones are really good quality charge fully in 45minuets which is amazing and charge for 5 minutes and it last for 2 hours which is amazing the only annoying thing is the two batteries on either side it gets in the way and feels a bit uncomfortable at first but you get used to it.What you get in the box wow I have never seen so many fittings you can definitely find the correct fit and the earphones charge with the normal apple wire which is personally very useful o overall they are amazing would really recommend them for daily use and also gym use as they are also really good to use in the gym.

Flat sound and hurt my ears

I have had to revert back to my Bose wired earbuds as the BeatsX ones connect really well and do a good job of blocking out surrounding sounds - but the sound is very flat with not much bass and equally you end up losing some of the high instrument notes. Very disappointing Xmas present which I will try to return. I would not recommend these if you are looking for top quality sound.

    Very disappointed

These do not sound like a beats product. I've had 2 pairs of urbeats and still own over ear mxr beats, and the bass on the beatsx is minimal, very disappointing. I watched some reviews on YouTube, as I was questioning if mine where faulty, but found this reduced bass is a feature of this product. I normally research products first before I buy, but these where an impulse buy, and why research a product/company when you already own products from the family and understand there identity & functionality. Also battery life is not the 8 hrs advertised, plus there is no warning it's running low. Charge cable too short and carry case is too small for the headphones. The leather one that came with the urbeats is much better, and I just use that instead. Tried to take them back, but because they are an inear product, wouldn't take them. You haven't lost a customer, but I'll do my research on my next purchase.

    Hugely disappointed

Hi, though having spent over a 100 pounds will get me a nice pair of earphones for gym, but these turned out to be well below par and very disappointing. There is no bass, the ear phones are not very practical either. Will never be buying another one, nor recommend it to anyone. Waste of money.

    Please read

Do not buy these, I am doing you the biggest favour by stopping you, I don't write reviews ever, just search the support if you don't believe me. They will just stop working one day for no reason I am on my third pair, I am so bored of returning them that I just asked for a refund, luckily I bought them from Argos and they relented and gave me vouchers. They said they are bored of having them returned too. They are great when they work but you will waste a lot of time and effort getting them repaired, I suspect there is a manufacture fault with these.

    Changing Beats

I got these for free with an iPhone X order with EE (UK). I wouldn't have bought them myself, because of my past experiences with Beats headphones but they have replaced my existing earbuds.

To me they are great. Far more neutral (still not completely neutral) sounding than the other Beats headphones I've spent time with. All the expected amount of accessories included. They're not my SE535s, but they serve a different purpose altogether. Pairing with Apple products is seamless.

Overall, a showcase of what happens to a product when Apple gets involved in R&D.

    Sounded great when it worked

These earphones are actually better than i expected when i bought them and they worked great for the 6 months i have owned them but earlier last week the earphones began to malfunction, when i tried to turn them on the power light just flashed white 3 times and won't switch on so i plugged it into power thinking it ran out of juice but the red light started flashing red and white so i thought to unplug it but then it wouldn't switch on altogether, but then for some odd reason they started working after a while but just today it stopped working again. All i am trying to say is that it would be great for a device that cost 129.99 to be built to a higher standard but I've owned beats products that have lasted me a shorter amount of time.

    Real Life review

I am a regular everyday user, when i was looking at the options i knew these were not bass heavy but decided to take the plunge anyway, i am not disappointed in anyway, their sounds are clear link up to my iphone 8 plus effortlessly, i advise using their wing tips and their ear plugs that suit your configuration. I use them on my train commute, walking and in the train. Its not very bass heavy but for all types of spotify music it works great and its a great everyday use item Comfortable beyond belief and i even use them in the gym no problems what so ever.
For a chance purchase it has turned out to be a piece i will hold onto for a very long time
charges with your standard apple lead and lasts for hours and good microphone so all in all it gets a thumbs up from me

    Fantastic

The beats quality is very well known but I was afraid about the bass, so I did some bass test and I still in shock, definitely I would recommend it

    Best earphones I ever owned - 10/10

After years of buying cheap £20 earphones and them breaking after a few months I decided to spend a little more money and get some beats. That was a few years ago when I got my urBeats - these were great (even went through the washing machine and still work). These earphones however are 10x better. Sound quality is amazing and it feels like you are submerged in whatever you are listening to. You can’t even feel them in your ears - not to mention there’s no contestant tugging from the cables! Battery life is good - very easy and quick to charge, not an inconvenience at all. Overall superb quality earphones 10/10.

Excellent sound quality and rugged earphones

I used these earphones on a 6000km cycle tour around Europe. I wore them every day to get sat nav directions and listen to music from my phone.
They charged very quickly from my cache battery while camping, while I was having breakfast and generally lasted 7 hours which is long enough! They are extremely sweat resistant, as I was riding in 40°+ temperatures.
Audio quality is superb and phone calls are a joy to recieve.
I am looking forward to many years of use of these headphones.

Surprising Terrible. Apple - What were you thinking?

Great concept (not rooted to the phone with a cable, but with neck cable to prevent loss). However, the sound quality is akin to a £10 set of headphones from a garage. An aggressive, tinny sound with no bass. Truly unpleasant to listen to.

I was expecting something close to my Bose SEs. Playing with GE settings on the phone, you can get a sound that gets you closer to a £15 set of earbuds, but still a long, long way from what I would consider acceptable for the price.

Also, perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I also found that if I pause music for a while, the only way I can start playback again is by fishing my phone out of my pocket and starting from there. I first thought it maybe because they had gone to sleep, but you can still trigger Siri (and no, after doing that, you can't start music playback again).

On the upside, the fit is good, and I can't see them flying out of my ears when moving about. You also have no cable noise (when the cable rubs on things as you walk - something quite bad on the new Bose SEs and why I was in the market for a new set).

But at the end of the day, these are almost certainly going back, so it doesn't really matter how well they fit.

    Brilliant with a twist

I thought they were rubbish for a while, they just would not convince me. I am an avid music head. Until I swapped the ear tips with the white ones from the wired in-ear headphones from Apple and was surprised to find stellar quality. They are well made, have a better material, they are a tad tinier so they create a tighter seal and the hole for the drivers is better shaped and closer to the ear.

Twist: poorly made included tips, expensive but with a clear vision. Gives a sense of musical freedom but do not impress on detail.
