    Too thin, fragile and sensitive

    • Written by Ninian C from Halifax

Remote looks great but is ridiculously sensitive. It’s impossinle to use the touch pad to select an icon panel first time around. You always whizz past it and have to try and navigate back to it. Also it’s too thin and very hard to hold comfortably – it’s thinness making it very easy to lose down the back of the couch. Plus it’s made of glass! What? Yes, it has a needless glass panel on the front. Ours is now shattered because the kids have dropped it several times onto the stone fireplace. So our once sleek remote is now held together with tape. I’ve just bought a big, thick rubber case for it, so that it can be protected and finally become ergonomic. A giant mistep by Apple who have forgotten that TVs reside in actual houses (that have messy kids in them), not futuristic flying saucer office complexes.

    Very Expensive

    • Written by Phillip B from Maidstone

Needed a replacement because the buttons on my original remote started jamming. Caused all sorts of problems & had to change it when the Vol+ button stuck down & my Sonos speakers nearly blew out the windows! Battery seemed to last a long time on the old one. Too soon to tell on the new one. Touch pad very sensitive, it's easy to accidentally change things. Body of the remote is very slippery so often slips out of my hand. Siri works OK 70% of the time. Overall it's more style over function & very expensive for what it does.

Worst remote I have ever used

    • Written by Ryan S from Falmouth

This remote is terrible. There is a menu button and a home button which seems confusing, the battery last about a day, the touch is wildly sensitive and not very accurate, Jumps around the movie is the remote falls down on sofa. Typing in passwords or search is frustrating. There are no forward or back skip buttons (only 10 seconds at a time with touch pad, doesn't work always).

I end using the Nimbus controller or the iPhone app which is slightly better experience.

    Does everything

It does everything, easy to use and intuitive. I may was well say it's an Apple product. The only comment I would make is that I wouldn't need it if the original hadn't stopped working.
