Stopped working just after warranty ran out

    • Written by Carl D from Marston Green

Great headphones when they worked but now they are broken after 14 months. I don’t even use them that often. Mainly when I fly. I’d be surprised if I’ve used them more than 50 times. They won’t stay connected, won’t stay turned on and won’t stay charged anymore. Looks like a mechanical fault with the wiring inside. They only seem to stay powered up in the the curled up position that you have to put them in to put in the case. SPEND YOUR £100 ON DIFFERENT EARPHONES PLEASE.

    cheap product

    • Written by Tricia G from walthamstow

I bought this product and I i have spent more time trying to get it replace. I have sent it back to apple 3 times within 1 year. I have not misused this product and to each time i get a replacement it is always the same problem battery will not charge. This product is rubbish and Apple needs to recall and provide customers with good quality products

Broke after 10 months, do not buy.

    • Written by Jack M from London

I thought they were a pretty good set of headphones and decent sound quality, but after 10 months they wouldn't switch on. Tried charging them as I thought the battery was flat and the lights flashed, but no good, they were dead! After reading online this is a common problem and that Apple are very unlikely to repair or replace them. Very disappointed with this purchase and unlikely to buy apple/beats products again.

I had two pairs die in the space of 16 months. Red and white lights of death! These headphones come with a 12 month warranty but you only get 90 days on any replacement. Shame as the quality of sound and battery life are excellent but the overall build quality clearly isn't!

    Power cut

    • Written by Christa M from Banff

These seem like good headphones whilst they work however they have a life on them that is equal to the warranty period where they cut out. When you speak to Apple they are unable to help you and say they are willing to charge you to repair them. All in all I would not recommend buying this product.

    Don’t waste your money

    • Written by Emily G from South Shields

I got these as a Christmas present in 2017, I used them for a year and they broke. I took them back and got a new pair, they then broke again and I got told I’d have to pay £70 for a renewal (even though it wasn’t my fault, it was a manufactures fault). I offered to pay the £70 and more to get a longer warranty on them and was told that was not possible. There are much better earphones out there for cheaper and don’t break on you twice in the space of a year. Don’t waste your money honestly!

    absolutely WORST

    • Written by Adrianna P from Romford

i would even give one star.
they are the worst headphones ive ever owned.
i got these as a gift, all worked fine until 9 months later when just suddenly stopped working.
i had them replaced not ONLY ONCE but like 4 times in the last 6 month.
i just gave up. its the most irritating thing not having working headphones.
quality is very similar to other brands. i am currently using the VAVA wireless headphones and im less annoyed.

i know this is an ongoing issue with the headset as 3 other people i know had the same issue.
although the customer service team is really good, i just dont think its fun to go through all the steps and still get no good result.

dont get them cause even if you use them once a week they will still break.
ive had it. get your game up BEATS.

I would urge anyone considering these headphones to not waste their time or money.

I purchased a black pair in August 2017 - 10 months later they died - red and white flashing light.

Apple replaced them but said the warranty is not renewed - it is valid from the date of the original purchase. Despite me protesting that this can't be fair considering the first ones were faulty, they said its apple policy

Fast forward 7 months to today and surprise surprise the replacement headphones have now died - permanent pink light!

I never write reviews but feel compelled to so to warn others to not wast £130 as I have because Apple do not give two hoots about you despite charging you a premium for a shoddy product.

battery goes flat after less than a year

    • Written by Jo A from Birmingham

After about 8 months use the battery went flat and wouldn't turn on. Spoke to someone at the shop where I bought them and this is apparently a common problem

    Honestly not worth it

    • Written by Marvelous A

I bought these earphones and i was really happy with them, they sounded great, but were uncomfortable in my ears. Secondly after just a MONTH of having them, the left ear stopped working. So instead i purchase a cheaper headphones called Kit Sound Harlem. They look absolutely beautiful and sound BETTER than the beats (i know suprising) but i still love the beats brand and logo, but sadly I’m not gonna recommend or purchase again.

On my 3rd pair and now being told I have to pay for new ones

    • Written by Chris T from London

Both the first 2 pairs broke with software issues.
I've had the most recent pair 4 months and they now have a loose connection, and I'm being told I have to pay to replace them.
They're great when they work, but as a Product Designer I find the build quality an absolute joke.

    Broke after 1 year

    • Written by Omar F from London

After just 1 year they randomly fail to power on. Eventually they turn on again, but after a few days will again stop working. So when heading out, you never know if your headphones will work.

When they do work, people complain about the microphone quality.

    Died after 14 months

    • Written by Patrick C from London

Whilst the headphones are superb when they are working, they have completely died after just 14 months of use. Unfortunately the warranty is only 12 months. I would strongly recommend a different maker (with a longer warranty).

    Garbage - over priced trash

    • Written by Matthew B from Great Leighs

I would class these earphones as complete rubbish. Sound is rubbish. Battery change is rubbish.

The sound quality is appalling and after a while they wouldn't even charge: Customer service for fix was terrible too.
