      Loving this printer so far!

I have been through probably a dozen printers over the years, all ink jet. I can only imagine what I have spent on ink. I share time between 2 households, so I I have been through probably a dozen printers over the years, all ink jet. I can only imagine what I have spent on ink. I share time between 2 households, so I go away for a month or two and return to find my print quality is terrible, the print heads are dried out, and no amount of head cleaning will improve the print quality. I started looking at laserjet printers, but wanted something that would print in color, scan, copy and fax. I found this printer on Apple.com. Not a single review. Other HP models had reviews that described problems with wireless access not working, scanning not working, etc. So I began to read reviews on Amazon and other websites, and some of the reviews for this model were wonderful, some described problems from the moment the printer was plugged in. I took a gamble and received this printer about a week ago. I read the set up instructions, followed them exactly, downloaded the drivers with HP123 as instructed. The drivers installed without a hitch on two MacBook Pros with OS 10.12.3. There was more difficulty installing it on my MB Air. After removing the software and re-downloading, it installed successfully. So far, the print quality is phenomenal, especially compared to my Epson Workforce printer. Faxing and copying is easy. The printer found my Apple network with ease and the wi fi is flawless. If the printer hibernates, it awakens easily. There are some issues noted in other reviews on other vendor sites about wifi connectivity and not being able to awaken the printer without physically touching it, and I fortunately have not had them. I've not tried scanning yet - will report back if any problems. But so far, my only regret is that I did not purchase this printer months ago. I am very happy with this purchase!
