How do you make the heading on page one differ from those on the following pages?

Set up the document
Open the Instructor
So to the layout tab: click on the section to open section control'
click "first page is different"
Drop an different header onto the header in page two.
For longer documents pay attention to the section breaks, and the page numbering and use the same headers and footers. It will become easier.
The section control offers a lot of things you can do.
Reminder: under VIEW; Keep the show invisibles on. I run it on at all times just to see where my controls are.
