Recycling in Japan

In Japan, different product take-back services are provided for businesses and individual consumers.

Note that computers sold after 1 October 2003 come with a PC Recycle Label, which covers the recycling cost. Consumers with these labels do not need to call the Apple Recycle Centre before shipping their equipment. They can simply attach the label to the package and contact the post office for pickup.
