About WeekNumber
This widget shows the actuall week number in the OS X dashboard. It was “written” by Jeena Paradies with help of Dashcode. It uses the shell command ‘date +%V’ to determinate the week number so it should deliver the right week number for all countries.
You can also download the dashboard project to play with it from the project website.
