Combine PDFs 1.1.1
About Combine PDFs
Sure it’s simple, lightweight, and anybody could put it together, but after reading in MacWorld that somebody asked about how to do it I realized that there are a lot of people out there who aren’t willing to give Automator a shot, or are a little wary of the program.
To that end, this script is a good starting point for those people. Open it in Automator, play around with it, save a new version, or just use it as it was intended and how I use it: to combine PDF files.
Add them to the order that you want them combined in, choose your compression, and you’ll find a brand new PDF file on your desktop in no time.
Whats New in this Version
- Updated with Mac OS X.5’s Automator. Some users were finding the program duplicated the first file. This problem should now be corrected for users who were still seeing the problem in 1.1. The workflow will need to be run from Automator until Apple corrects the problem. A new convert to PDF script has also been included and can convert any file that Preview can open.
System Requirements
- Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later
