What’s a living room, kitchen, bedroom, or bathroom without some great music, movies, podcasts, or audiobooks? AirPlay lets you stream music wirelessly from your iPad to any speaker connected to an AirPort Express. Just tap the AirPlay icon, select the speakers you want to use, and you’ll hear music throughout the house. Use AirPlay to stream the movies, TV shows, and HD video from your iPad to your HDTV through Apple TV.1 And if it’s in the iTunes library on your Mac or PC, you can watch or listen to it on your iPad with Home Sharing over Wi-Fi.

A genius song. A Genius playlist.

When you’re listening to a song you really love, tap Genius. The Genius feature finds songs that sound great with it and creates a playlist you’ll love even more. You can play it, save it, or give it another go. Genius playlists are, well, genius when you’re having a party, hanging out, or hitting the road. You’ll hear mixes you wouldn’t have thought of yourself and re-appreciate songs you forgot you had. Tap “like" while you listen to your favorite songs — all your likes post to your Ping profile in iTunes so you can guide your friends to your great taste in music.

iTunes in the Cloud.

When you buy music from iTunes, iCloud automatically downloads it to all your devices over Wi-Fi or 3G. You can also browse your purchase history and choose specific songs or albums to download again at no additional cost.2 Sign up for iTunes Match and you can access all your other music from iCloud — including music you’ve imported from CDs.
