New App Arrangement Control and App Store Page Format in iTunes 9
When you sync your iPod touch or iPhone with iTunes 9, select it in the Devices area in iTunes' left column and then select the Applications tab in the main window. You can uncheck and check applications in the sortable list on the left to hide and show them on the device you're syncing. Or you can manage that and more in the graphical display of your pages on the right. Point at an app and click the X that will appear to hide it. Or grab the app and drag it to another page in the column to the right. Need some room to work to arrange things the way you'd like? Drag an app into the gray area to create a new page. You can always tidy up when you're done. (Don't forget to click Apply to put your changes into effect.)
The pages for individual applications in the App Store now follow the same basic format as the pages for individual albums in Music, individual movies in Movies, and so on -- descriptive content and customer reviews in the large area to the right, summaries and a Buy button (complete with an options triangle containing sharing options) in the narrow column on the left. In the App store the bottom of that column contains links to other products by the same developer and links to the developers' home and support websites appear near the top on the right. (And don't overlook the small ...More buttons here and there on the far right.)
