Choosing What to Sync from Your iTunes Library

Because you can sync as many devices with your iTunes library as you wish, iTunes lets you choose what you want on each one. Simply select the device you're syncing in the Devices section in the left hand column of the iTunes window and then use the tabs across the top to customize which albums, movies, and more you want to sync. The choices will vary to match the type of device you're syncing, and in each case you can choose not to sync that content at all, or to limit what gets synced by playlists, artists, albums or genre for music, by unwatched and recently viewed for movies, etc. iTunes will remember your settings for each device and automatically apply them each time you sync. And you can of course change them any time in the same way you set them up in the first place.
