Move and Create Folders in iOS 4.2.1 When You Sync

With iOS 4.2.1 you can create folders directly on iPad as well as iPhone and iPod touch. Simply press and hold an app until they all start jiggling, then drag the app on top of another app you'd like in the same folder. You can add more apps to the folder by holding and dragging them there. Finally, you can move the folders themselves by pressing, holding, and dragging them to a new location.

You can also accomplish all this when you sync your devices with iTunes. After you connect your device, select it in Devices in the left-hand column of the iTunes window, then select Apps from the tabs across the top. You can then click and drag to reorder your home screens and move apps and folders within and among them, as well as create and add apps to folders.
