Johny Srouji

Chief Hardware Officer

Johny Srouji is Apple’s chief hardware officer, reporting to CEO John Ternus.

In this role, he oversees Apple’s world-class Hardware team, which is responsible for creating and building all of Apple’s hardware products and underlying technologies across a variety of disciplines. Those include product design, system engineering, reliability and durability testing, as well as leading breakthrough technologies in Apple silicon, cellular, displays, cameras, sensors, batteries, and other critical areas of hardware innovation.

Johny joined Apple in 2008 to lead development of application processors for the iPhone, which became the foundation of Apple silicon that is now at the core of all of Apple’s products.

Prior to Apple, Johny held senior positions at Intel and IBM in the area of processor development and design. He earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Computer Science from Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology.
