Quantel
Quantel offers a single-step transfer option for users who offline in Final Cut Pro and require an online workflow using Quantel's generationQ range of products. Quantel systems integrate via Final Cut Pro XML and AAF through a third-party solution, and allow projects to be finished on Quantel systems via a multilayer AAF exchange. The multilayer timeline enables online projects to be confirmed with exactly the same structure as in the offline. Enhanced AAF metadata support allows automatic rebuild of transitions, DVE effects, layer opacity, and text. The offline interchange uses the open and nonproprietary AAF format compatible with Final Cut Pro.
Rising Sun Research
Rising Sun Research focuses on improving collaboration and flexibility during television and film review and approval cycles. Their QuickTime-based remote review and approval tool, cineSync, allows users to play, scrub, draw on screen, write, and point on synchronized content. All of these interactions can be transferred to Final Cut Pro via XML.
