Bob Mansfield is Apple's senior vice president of Technologies, reporting to CEO Tim Cook.
Bob leads all of Apple's wireless and semiconductor teams across the company. He joined Apple in 1999 to oversee the team that has delivered dozens of breakthrough Mac products including the MacBook Air and the all-in-one iMac line. Over the years, Bob has led some of the company's most challenging engineering projects.
Prior to joining Apple, Bob was vice president of Engineering at Raycer Graphics, which Apple acquired in 1999. Previously, Bob was a senior director at SGI, responsible for the development of various microprocessor designs.
Bob earned a BSEE degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1982.
