Get the latest software.
- If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, set it up before you set up your Mac.
- Make sure your computer is running the latest version of Mac OS X Snow Leopard (v10.6.7 or later). For more information about system requirements, click here.
- To check for updates, choose Apple menu > Software Update.
- Follow onscreen instructions if necessary.

Sign in to MobileMe
System Preferences.
- From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
- Select MobileMe.
- Sign in with your MobileMe member name and password.

Sync your information with
the MobileMe cloud.
- Click the Sync tab, select the “Synchronize with MobileMe” checkbox, and then choose Automatically for the fastest updates.
- Select the Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks checkboxes.
- Click the Sync Now button.
- Important: To complete set up of iCal syncing, you must follow these instructions.
- To sync notes between the Mac OS X Mail app and the Notes app on your iOS device, follow these instructions.
- If you have more than one Mac, select the other items you want to sync across your Mac computers.
Now that you’ve completed the steps above...
In a few minutes, your email, contacts, and calendars on your Mac will be available at me.com and will stay in sync with any other devices you set up.

MobileMe is now also set up with the applications on your Mac:
