Set Up MobileMe

Get the latest software.
- If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, set it up before you set up your PC.
- Download and install the latest version of iTunes (v10.3 or later).
- Download and install the latest version of MobileMe Control Panel for Windows (v1.6.6 or later).
- Follow onscreen instructions if necessary.

Sync your information with
the MobileMe cloud.
- From the Windows Start menu, open Control Panel and choose MobileMe, located in Network and Internet.
- Sign in with your MobileMe member name and password.
- Click the Sync tab. Select the “Sync with MobileMe” checkbox, and then choose Automatically for the fastest updates.
- Select the Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks checkboxes, and then choose which applications to sync with.*
- Click the Sync Now button.

Set up your email software.
- You can access your MobileMe email at www.me.com. You can also set up your desktop email program using the following instructions:
- If you already know how to set up your email program, use these settings:
- Account type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server: mail.me.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.me.com (requires authentication)
Now that you’ve completed the steps above...
In a few minutes, your email, contacts, and calendars on your PC will be available at me.com and will stay in sync with any other devices you set up.

With the new MobileMe Calendar, Microsoft Outlook users can view and manage both MobileMe and Exchange calendars within Outlook in a combined view.
