Apple Retail Store Purchase Policies
If you are not satisfied with your Apple purchase, return it with the original receipt and original packaging within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of purchase. If the item is returned undamaged, we will exchange it or offer a refund based only on the original payment method. Apple will wire transfer to you within ten (10) business days for cash and cash equivalent transactions over $2,000 to bank accounts located in Hong Kong. Please note that refunds to bank accounts located in Mainland China could take up to twenty one (21) business days.Please note the following:
Note that, as an exception, you may return Apple branded software within the 14-day return period, if you do not agree to the licensing terms, provided you do not retain any copies, including copies stored on a computer or other device and have not loaded the software onto a computer and used it. However, if your software includes a license that you can read before you break the seal or sticker on the software media packaging, you may not return the software once you break the software media packaging seal or sticker.
Unless you have a separate agreement with Apple for the purpose of establishing ongoing credit terms, purchases made using a purchase order are subject to “Net 30” terms. Please note that the terms and conditions of your PO will not apply and these terms and conditions shall govern any purchases made at the Apple Retail Store.
Should Apple permanently reduce its price on any Apple-branded product or launch a new product within fourteen (14) calendar days of your purchase, you may (i) request a refund of the difference between the price paid and the current selling price or (ii) exchange your previous generation product for the newly launched product at the current selling price (as availability allows). An original purchase receipt is required, and you must request your refund or exchange within 14 days of the price reduction or new product launch. Please note that this policy does not apply to limited-time price drops or special offers, such as price reductions that occur during holiday sales events.
Apple products are subject to applicable export control laws and regulations and must be purchased, sold, exported, re-exported, transferred, or used in compliance with such export laws and regulations.
Apple Gift Cards are issued and managed by Apple Asia Limited (“Issuer”) and can be applied only to purchases from an Apple Retail Store in Hong Kong. Gift Cards may not be redeemed at iTunes Store, App Store, at any Apple resellers, for cash (except as required by law), or for shipments outside Hong Kong. Neither Issuer nor its affiliates is responsible for any lost or stolen gift cards or use without your permission. For your Gift Card’s balance, please visit Apple Retail Store. Additional payment required if purchase price of iPhone, iPad, or any other product exceeds the value of the Gift Card. Not for resale. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Gift Receipt Return Policy
Gift items purchased at an Apple Retail Store can be returned with an original Gift Receipt within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of purchase. If the item is returned in the original box, unopened, with the original packaging, we will exchange it or offer you an Apple Gift Card equal to the purchase price of the gift, including tax and any other fees. All other standard purchase policies outlined herein apply.
Sales to End Users Only
The Apple Retail Store sells and ships products to end user customers only. You may not purchase for resale. Apple reserves the right to refuse or cancel your order if Apple suspects you are purchasing for resale.
Product Availability and Limitations
Given the popularity and/or supply constraints of some of our products, Apple reserves the right, in its sole discretion and at various times, to limit the quantity of products available for purchase by its customers. As such, Apple may require additional qualifying information prior to accepting or processing any order.
Some Apple products, such as iPhone or iPad, may utilize wireless services that may incur extra costs and/or fees and are governed by the terms of a separate agreement between you and your selected wireless service provider. If you return an Apple product that utilizes wireless services, you may also need to terminate or reset your wireless account directly with your wireless provider. Please contact your wireless provider directly for more information. Please note that pre-paid SIMs that have been used or opened from packaging cannot be returned or exchanged.
