Does the iPad include a warranty?
iPad comes with
90 days of complimentary telephone technical support. In addition, your iPad, its rechargeable battery and all included accessories are covered against defects for a full year from the purchase date by a limited hardware warranty. Can I extend the iPad warranty?
AppleCare+ for iPad extends your coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your iPad and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a $49 service fee plus applicable tax. With AppleCare+ for iPad, Apple experts can help troubleshoot issues over the phone or at an Apple Retail Store. They’ll answer questions about iOS, Apple iPad apps such as Mail, iMessage and Calendar, and help you solve interconnectivity issues between your iPad and Mac or PC.
