Sharing Podcasts

After you’ve optimized the size of your podcast in GarageBand, iWeb adds it to your website as a new blog entry on a page using an uncustomized version of the blog template. To make your podcast page look like other blog entries, create a new blog enty that matches them and transfer the new podcast to the new page.

To match the style of other blog entries:

  1. Select a blog entry from the sidebar and choose Edit > Duplicate. Date the new blog entry.
  2. Copy (Command-C) the title from the podcast entry. Then paste (Command-V) it into the title area of the new duplicated entry. You may want to shorten the title if it’s too long.
  1. Select the podcast image/player on the Podcast entry and copy it.
  2. Go to the new duplicated entry, select the placeholder image, and paste the podcast into that area. The podcast image/player appears on the new duplicate page.

    Note: Depending on the size of the placeholder image, you may need to delete the placeholder image and resize the podcast image/player.

  3. To avoid having two entries with the same content, delete the original, uncustomized page iWeb created for your podcast.
