FLUFFY is in the business of surprise. In addition to selling frozen treats and limited-edition merch, the creative hub is rethinking what retail can be — and it never delivers the same experience twice.

FLUFFY was started in 2020 by three friends. In their stores you’ll find ice cream, snacks, beverages, and playful branded merchandise. Their focus on fun and convenience has helped them scale quickly, and they credit Apple with helping them keep up. With iPad, iPhone, and Mac, they can launch pop-up shops across Shanghai, streamline processes, boost creativity, and connect to the community that keeps coming back for more.

With iPad and the FLIPOS app, employees can handle everything from point-of-sale transactions to store performance and business management. The system also drives CRM tools that make it simple to connect with customers. Staff use iPad to scan a customer’s QR code from their iPhone, capturing membership info instantly and strengthening customer relationships. In fact, just one year after adopting iPad and the FLIPOS app, FLUFFY saw a 14% increase in loyalty memberships.

Customized apps help drive efficiency while keeping up the fun. Optimized for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, the Feishu app allows store managers to easily distribute daily tasks, manage schedules, and publish important notices. Staff use the same app to clock in on iPhone, manage stock and update shared files on iPad, and keep every store in sync. Tasks that once took an hour now take just 18 minutes, leaving more time for customers and creativity.

Collaboration is important to the team. The founder float between locations, relying on Mac, thanks to its long-lasting battery and built-in productivity apps like Pages and Keynote. And across the company, employees check-in and collaborate over video calls using iPad to keep things running smoothly.

Bringing imagination to life is what keeps FLUFFY growing, and their merch and product drops are as coveted as their rotating flavors. Designers use iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for quick sketches and expressive concepts, then move to MacBook Pro to refine every detail. With continuity features like Sidecar that extend their workspace across devices, they’re able to create even more content and turn ideas into campaigns that keep customers excited.

FLUFFY’s marketing team counts on iPhone to capture social content with accurate, true-to-life color, all while fitting seamlessly into their production workflow. With iPad and Mac, FLUFFY’s creative team can create mock-ups digitally and see prototypes in real time, decreasing its content creation time from 10 days to 4 days. “The Apple platform gives us access to a wide range of tools and solutions that have helped us yield twice the result with half the effort,” says Zhaorui Tang, Founder.
