Would Apple TV 4K generation 2 work with old apple remote pls
How can I work out if my Apple TV 4K supports thread? Is the older one with big square touch pad in remote
My tv isn’t 4K, is there a setting on AppleTV 4K to downgrade signal from Dolby Vision to a lower quality that will work on my older tv? All new content on HBOMax won’t stream. I have the highest grade HDMI Cable recommended, but I keep getting errors. I can view the content using an older Roku or older AppleTV . I plan to upgrade to a 4K tv later this year, which is why I paid extra for the AppleTV 4K unit, but am frustrated that I can’t use it for a lot of content....
I have been trying to connect a 4k Apple TV to a receiver and then out to a projector. I have connected via HDMI cable the Apple TV 4K to a Pioneer 1080p receiver. Then via HDMI on the receiver out to my Epson Projector. The projector receives NO signal at all from Apple TV . However, if I plug the Apple TV directly into the projector (via HDMI) it works fine. And also if I plug the Apple TV directly into a TV HDMI input it works fine. It is ONLY when I connect Apple TV to Receiver...
my Apple TV 4K has no UBS port. The light is blinking and I do not know how to factory reset it. Any suggestions? In other words, I cannot go to setting. Nothing is working. I do not know why Apple removed USB connection. By the way, on my Samsung smart TV sources, I can see Apple TV HDMI connection is green but the power symbol is red...
I wish to send an Apple TV 4K to my friend staying in Sydney from Japan. My concern is a lithium-ion battery in the body. Will it get through customs in Australia? Any information is appreciated. Max Ogawa...
Hi. I have recently purchased an AppleTV 4K 2nd Gen, tvOS 15.5.1, and 2 HomePod Minis. I am based in South Africa and my App Store is configured to the South Africa App Store. When I try to open the apps like TV+, or Netflix or Disney+ using Siri, I get a response:”Sorry something’s wrong. Please try again. “. I can airplay from my device. Any idea what the issue is ?...
Hello, I have a problem with Apple TV 4K (version with traditional HDMI input, power cable input and internet cable input). There is no picture. The white LED is blinking all the time (pulsating). I checked with different HDMI cables, plugged the power cable into other inputs, tried to restart using the Apple TV remote control. There is no reaction. The same all the time. The LED is blinking, zero picture, no source information on the TV....
AppleTV 4k, just updated, then got to start page with different shows seen scanning across the screen, but everything else is frozen. I can't click on anything, or even turn off box. I can change the volume with the remote, but nothing else. I then unplugged for 20 seconds and replugged it but with same results. I did nothing to interfere with the new upgrade, waited until it finished before I tried to control anything, even plugged in the remote to make sure it had power....
Same as this topic: My samsung tv will not turn off with the … - Apple Community One thing that I don’t understand though is that it works great in my living room were I have a Sonos Beam connected ”between” my TV and Apple TV . In my bedroom without any kind of reciver, the TV simply does not turn off when using the Apple TV remote or remote app....
I recently bought an Apple TV 4K primarily to play Apple Music through my AV system. I find that it goes on standby, no sound or video, whenever the TV is turned off (even though the TV is doing nothing but showing screensaver). All audio and video is going through the AV receiver (Onkyo) via HDMI. Are there any settings on TV, receiver, .... that can fix this? Any HDMI hardware hacks? It's very wasteful energy-wise and tv-lifetime-wise to burn the TV all day showing a screensaver when music...
Recently we decided to upgrade one of our AppleTV units from AppleTV 4th gen to an AppleTV 4K 2nd gen. We primarily did it to get the new remote but we also plan to upgrade the TV to 4K in the coming months so it made sense to make use of some rewards points we had at a retailer. However we are having issues that are very annoying/distracting while watching anything. Aside from changing out the AppleTV hardware nothing has changed with our configuration whatsoever yet this unit constantly pops...
I just bought an Gen 2 AppleTV 4K and it the speed when it connects to my 5.0 Ghz WiFi (only 25 feet from my UNiFi w/ WiFi 6 and no walls between them) is often less than 1Mbps (according to Ookla Speedtest). If I connect to the 2.4 Ghz WiFi, it'll pull 20-60 Mbps. I did do the software update and it fixed it, I was pulling over 200 Mbps for about half an hour and then stuff started to bugger and when I checked my speed again, it was back to less than 1.0 Mbps. I put my iPhone 12 Max next...
