My iPad software updated to iOS 15.4 and now I can’t figure out how to turn off multitasking / split screen . None of the suggestions when I Google apply to the new iPad configuration. I hate split screen , and it’s a pain to get rid of it constantly....

About a month ago the TouchBar became splotchy - best I can describe it is as if it had blue ink bleed. After a couple of weeks it spread and now the display is completely black.
